RWBY: The Wolf and the Red Hood

Wolf and the Red Hood part 1

As Ruby closed in on the Grimm, something caught her off guard. She thought she saw a flicker of a shadow, like someone was watching her. But before she had time to react, the King Taijutu grimm had coiled it's scaley body around her, restricting her movement. She tried to fire her weapon, but the Grimm just squeezed harder, to the point she couldn't breath. But just as she was about to blackout, she noticed that the Grimm had loosened its grip. When she opened her eyes, a man in a robe with a hood over his head was looking at her. In his left hand was what she assumed to be his weapon; a double-edged katana with a peculiar pommel. In his right hand he held her weapon, Crescent Rose. Thinking that this man wanted to hurt her, Ruby clenched her fists like her sister taught her to. But, to her utter surprise, he handed her scythe to her. Then he offered to help her up. When she got on her feet, he asked,"Are you Ruby Rose?" Ruby felt suspicious, but felt that this man did not pose a threat. So she replied, "Yes, but who are you?" The stranger lowered his hood, and Ruby noticed that he had ears, making him a faunist. "My name,"he said, "Is Wolfe, and I am looking for someone." "Who are you looking for?", Ruby asked him. "Her name is Phyrrha, and I heard that you were her friend at Beacon Academy", he said with a look of hopefulness, "If this is true, is she with you? I wish to see my friends' face". Immediately, Ruby knew that this wasn't going to end well, so she decided it would be best if everyone else from team RNJR was here to help explain. "Follow me, I'll take you to her", Ruby replied with a sad expression upon her face. On the way there, Ruby studied the stranger who called himself Wolfe. She took note of his green eyes and silver hair, his ears much like Blakes', but for some reason, different. She also took notice of his tail; also resisting the urge to pet him. She was so focused on him, she didn't notice the tree in front of her, so when she ran into it, she thought she had run into another Grimm. When she was done slicing (and shooting) the tree, she looked at Wolfe to see him laughing at her. "W-What's so funny?!", she said, flustered. "You truly are Qrow's niece", he said, clutching his sides, "Only he would get distracted like that!" Ruby's face turned the color of a fire hydrant. "A-Anyways, how do you know Phyrra anyway?", she said, hoping to change the topic, "She never told me about you." Wolfe stopped walking, a look of despair upon his face. "She never, ever mentioned me before? Never mentioned who taught her to fight, or who bested her in combat?" He said every word with a look of sadness, as if Phyrra was more than just a pupil; his friend. "Ruby? Ruby where are you?", someone called out. "I'm over here, Jaune!", Ruby replied. Jaune approached Ruby's location, but was surprised to see another person with her; Ruby liked to hunt alone. "Ruby", Jaune asked, "Who is this?" "His name is Wolfe, and he is looking for Phyrra, Jaune", replied Ruby. "Oh, I see", Jaune said, looking away,"Come on, then."
