Ring! Ring! "Shut the " you said before you got erupted by your mum opening the door with the house telephone.
"Someone's on the phone for you Shelby."my mum said excitedly.
I took the phone away from my mum nicely and put the phone up my my ear.
"Hello?"I said blankly waiting for an answer.
Is this Shelby Dawson?"I heard from the other side of the line.
"Yes,and may I ask who this may be?"I said rather nicely,I'm rather a bad kid but I just felt like being nice.
"This is TeenMagik the magazine announcing that you are the winner for the Vacation to California contest!"
My heart stopped for a moment from hearing what I heard from the other side of the line.
"Miss Dawson are you there?"I heard.
"Yes I am thank you so much!"I said still in amazement from the news I had heard a few moments earlier.
"We have sent you the tickets and other importants in the mail , have a good vacation and a good day, goodbye."I
heard then hung up .
My mum left doing her little happy dance and I texted my boyfriend Nate Garner
To BB boy: I got some news!!!!! Failed touch to try again. I clicked it several times and gave up. I guess I'll tell him later in person.
