She doesn't even know...
I've known Mai since elementary school, now we're sophomores in high school. I've not her side through every phase, every pain, every event, every joy, every douchebag boyfriend, everything. Mai has always been beautiful. She has long brown hair and hazel highlights. Her eyes are the most beautiful brown I have ever seen. Her lips are plump and a light shade of pink. God, that girl... She's beautiful. She's golden passed the looks that girl. When I came out to her I was crying she held me and told me she didn't care that I liked girls. I had to tell her, the rumor that I liked her was going around and... I couldn't have her know that.
*flashback*
Its raining the moon is shining so brightly in the night reflecting off of the pool of water in front of us. I hear rapid footsteps running towards me, I'm honestly scared I've been pushed into lockers, shoved, and beaten up on all over campus since the school found out. There's my beautiful princess, Mai, running to me. "Lily! Is that y-" she stops at the sound of me crhing at that second she's standing by me. She flops to sit by me as I cry.
"Are you okay Lily?" she says pulling me close so I can cry into her shirt.
"Yes miss, I'm okay..." I sniffle and cry to her, "I just need to tell you something.."
"What is it Lily you can tell me anything"
"I-I like girls.."
There's silence.
"Lillian, I know. There's the rumor that you... Like me. I know you don't though."
"Everyone and their rumors... They have no idea the pain they cause."
"I know"
*back to real time*
Mai's soul is so pure. She's always been so sweet. I think that's why she always seems to picks up those stupid, no good boys.
