You can't run from the past

Chapter 1

Hey guys,
This is my first story that I'm ever going to publish. So I'm sorry if the grammar is bad, or the story is just plain trash. I'm trying my best. I hope that you guys will help me get through this first story and hopefully make me a better writer. I have some great ideas, but then when I start to write them down my mind goes blank.
Anyways, here's the story and hopefully you enjoy it.

Chapter 1
Olivia
The sun was setting over the ocean, turning it various shades of orange and red. I looked over to my boyfriend, Kyle. He had been my boyfriend for almost a year, and I loved him to death.
"I love watching the sunset over the ocean. "I told him gazing at the sea. "It's just so beautiful. "I side.
"Not as beautiful as my girlfriend. "Kyle said wrapping an arm around me.
I smiled to myself. I honestly don't know what I would do without him. He's the sweetest, kindest, funniest, guy I'd ever known. Well, except for him. There had once been a guy like him. Once upon a time.
But I don't like talking about him anymore. That was in the past, and now I have a wonderful guy who really loves me. Who truly cares about me and would do anything for me.
"Do you have everything ready for tomorrow? "Kyle asked.
"Yeah. I'm ready. It's just another year of high school, the last one. I just can't wait for high school to be over already. " I replied.

OK. I know this chapter is like really short, and probably like not even good at all. But that's all I got right now. Hopefully you enjoyed it at least a little bit. I'll try to update soon.
