I sat on my bed doing Mr Garcia's history homework while twirling my mid-length black hair when my dad came in.

My mom left us when I was 15 and filed divorce against my dad, she would always say when she had enough money she would come back for me but never did.

Ever since she left dad has been heavily drinking, but lately he's been touching me, never taking it far but just enough to scar me for life.

"Hey Babygirl" he said slipping into my room

"Hi dad" I said closing my books trying to figure out his intentions

"I love what you did to your hair today" he said pushing my hair behind my ear, bringing his hand to my chin

I shivered and inched back toward my headboard" "Thank you" I said trying to be polite so he wouldn't get aggressive

He then leaned over and kissed me near my lips "Now go get dinner"

He stood up and walked out, closing my door behind him. I picked up my arm and wiped my face with my sleeve as I stood up

I walked to my closet to put on a grey Polo matching sweatshirt and joggers with my Nike black slides.

I walked downstairs to see my dad already passed out on the couch holding his usual bottle of beer

"That's a new record" I whispered as I quietly passed him, walking towards the door,walking out.

Flipping my hood on, I walked down the street

My street was a violent, gang-related block. Kids weren't even allowed to go outside fearing that they could get mugged or shot.

No one ever really bothered me, sure I've seen people die out on the streets and drive-bys up and down the street but I was just one of the ones who never stood out

~Ding ding~

I walked into the corner store, walking straight back to the freezers picking out some frozen pizzas for dinner

"Pepperoni or Cheese" I said picking

~Ding Ding~

I looked up to see a masked man approach the counter

Quickly I sneaked over behind one of the stacked up boxes, knowing the was a robbery and that i should be hidden

"Run dat shit" he said pointing his gun to the cash register

"I-I have nothing" the clerk said shaking in fear

"Bitch you must think I'm joking" he said laughing

I pulled out my phone and started calling the police

"RUN ME MY FUCKIN MONEY" he said yelling taking off his mask

I looked up to see His face that appeared to look young, my age, his face angered as he yelled

At that moment my trembling finger pressed speaker...

"Hello, 911 how may I help you?" The voice boomed through the store

"Shit!" I said under my breath

"Who in here" he said walking around

I slowly peeked out seeing he was coming toward where I was

My brain started thinking fast as I looked around, I slowly picked up a heavy can of what looked to be soup and held it close to me

"Where the fuck are you" he said walking dangerously close

I then panicked quickly and stood up and threw the heavy can at him as it burst

Picking up my phone and Running out the store quickly I ran a couple blocks ducking into a ally way

I panted for breath as I sweated dreadfully from running

"I think he's gone"

I then felt my body thrown to the wall by my neck as I looked up to see him

"You called the cops on me" he gritted through his teeth, tightening his grip

"N-No" I said trembling trying to unhook his hand from my neck

My phone buzzed from inside my pocket , he reached down to see that the call  was still connected

"Hello, Hello were sending help to your location"

My eyes widen as he glared and looked up at me

"YOU LYING BITCH" he said smashing my phone down to the ground

"Im so sorry please I'm sorry" I pleaded

He then picked his gun up from his back pocket and put it to my temple

I shivered and cried as he looked at me with no mercy

Nearby police sirens rang through the air as they rushed to our location

He tightening his grip even more and dragged me through the ally

"No-no please don't hurt me I'm sorry" i screamed as i heard police officers running our way

He stopped and turned around with anger and smacked me

And everything went

DARK

So I couldn't find the original shoota so i had to start over😭
