Chapter Two- Quality Time

Lynn's POV

The next morning I woke up. We didn't have training today, so I put on a band shirt and skinny pants. I walk out of the cot and meet up with Mikasa.

"Hey Lyyyyynnnn."

"Hey Kasa."

"What's up?"

"About to go hangout with Eren and Armin. Wanna come?"

"No, that's okay. Thanks though." She smiles and nods.

"Well, I better get going. See ya later!" She waves and walks away.

I take my phone out of my pocket and go to iTunes and put on my music. I start to walk around, not really knowing what to do.

"Lynn! Hey Lynn!" I hear someone running up behind me. I take out one earbud and turn to the figure.

"Oh, Hey Jean." I blush a bit and wave.

"Hiya." He smiles. I notice he had his hands behind his back. I look around to try and see what it was, but he moved before I could catch a glimpse. Connie walks up, and Jean glares at him. Connie throws an arm around me, laughing.

"'Sup Toots?" He says, and I roll my eyes. I take his hand off me and walk away. I guess I'll go join Mikasa and them. While I walk I can faintly hear Jean yelling at Connie,

"God dammit Springer! Why the hell did you do that?"

"What? You were just..-" Then I couldn't hear them anymore.

I keep walking and see a bit of Armin's hair. Bingo. I walk over there and wave.

"Hey Lynn!" Mikasa says, pushing Eren and patting the spot next to her for me to sit. I laugh and sit down.

"Whatcha guys doing?" I ask.

"Arguing about which ice cream flavor we should get for Friday's movie night." Armin says.

"I say mint chocolate." I suggest

"Yeaah!" Mikasa says, and we high five.

"Yeah, I say mint choco too." Armin agrees.

"I want birthday cake." Eren pouts.

"Too bad." Mikasa says.

She has a piece of paper, that has written:

Mint Choco Ice Cream

Small birthday cake Ice cream for Eren the pouty butt.

I chuckle at the last thing, and put some hair behind my ear.

"Alright, I'm gonna get going. See you guys later?" They nod and wave as I leave. I walk back to the cot, but is interrupted by a red Jean.

"Hey Jean." I say, chuckling.

"What's got you all worked up?" I ask him, and he ruffles his hair. God, he was cute. I blush at my thoughts and he speaks up.

"Connie got me all pissed off." He scoffs and messes with a piece of my hair. I blush.

"Uh, can we continue what was going on?" He asks, and I nod. He extends a hand to me to help me up, and I delightfully take it. We walk around in the woods for a while, with awkward silence.
