What if the world around you was filled with hidden demons? What if all you could do was hope they chose not to take you? Thirteen year old Shyn lives in a time just like this. The world has been killed off, only a couple hundred humans remain in the cruel place. The few that have managed to survive are hunted by 'Demons of the Night', or Freedromes. With her parents taken by the Freedromes, and her heat desiring for their return, where will Shyn's journey take her?
