White Lotus with tainted stem, where do befall words of them?

Meaningless dialogues & pointless interactions,

To stop you, White Lotus, from blooming attractions.

Even so your roots absorb their corrupted poison,

For you acknowledged the relieving misfortune.

Malevolence seeping into your stomata,

Liquefying insects who wish to savor more than water.

Try my sweet, sweet White Lotus,  try harder to focus.

Replacing the nutrients is the depravity, eating you from inside,

Yet you still do not speak your mind.

Along with the surreal tales you advertise,

Watch your luminous petals shed before your eyes.

White Lotus made vibrant in sun,

Worry not about what has been done.

I beseech, I plead, I cry

Heed the wisdom of this wilting heart of mine.

Weaker and weaker as you grow,

How far will you allow this illness to go.

Until it strikes your core,

Soon to reach the thoughts you abhor.

Laid White Lotus sleep not eternally,

For I have a gift to you from me.

Brown stem, decrepit leaves,

A nectar bound to attract the busiest bees.

Why do you, White Lotus, not answer me?

Alas you sleep; rested, withering.

Stem grounded as your tainted petals fly,

A conclusive & final goodbye.
