- It's to unchain your friend. You two, other side.
Pfft. I'm with the crazy one.
- HURRY!
Assholes..
- Fine, chill dude.
I finally spoke!!
- Don't call me that.
Sure, dad.
- In your cells!
Cells? These are beautiful rooms.
- Read rules in this book.
He threw a book at me and walked away with Rams & Endy.
- Rules book?
- Guess so.
I unchained Layla and admired the beautiful dark blue tainted room. Layla hummed and walked around the room.
(Layla's POV)
-These rooms are pretty nice for a mental asylum. Oh, it feels amazing to be out of those chains.
I stretched and yawned, going back to Sarah. I looked over her shoulder, staring at the rule book.
-It just talks about how it's impossible to escape. We have to be on time and those who don't listen will be severely punished.
Sarah spoke while flipping through all the pages. I looked over her shoulder, staring down at the rule book.
-Why the hell do they make a rule book? They should know that we aren't going to follow them.
I wondered. Did they ever take into consideration that some people don't follow the rules, especially me? I guess not.
- I'm definitely not going to. What's the escape plan ? We wait until free time to get Ramsey and Endy out and then we throw a bomb at the wall and run away ??
Typical Sarah, always has a plan. I smile at her idea and she continues flipping through the rules book.
- NO CROP TOPS OR NICE CLOTHES?! KILL ME!!!
She also freaks out for nothing. I sighed, looking and fidgeting with the hems of my white shirt. I hesitated before saying something.
- We can always make something new out of these boring rags.
I sighed while Sarah nodded . I walked over to the closet, grabbing some of the folded shirts and pants. I looked at the drawer again and grabbed the vase that was on top of it. I let it fall, cracking it. I grabbed one of the pieces from the ground. I grabbed the shirt and laid it out along with the pants. I started cutting and making any sort of adjustment. I made a crop top and skirt for Sarah and a crop top and shorts for me.
- What about the mess you made with the vase?
Sarah asked, poking at one of the shards with her feet.
- I can simply sweep it under the bed, don't worry.
I got on my knees and started sweeping it under. I finished quickly with a few scratches on my hands. The workers of the asylum came in.
-Why isn't this one chained? Who let her go?!
One of the workers immediately ran to the chains that were on the ground. I shrugged and put my hands behind my back and shook my head. I clicked my tongue and they looked at me strangely. As if they were... scared.
-Tsk. Tsk. You two are nothing but cowards.
I kept clicking my tongue and the workers furrowed their eyebrows. I smiled, succeeding in making them mad. I got into a relaxed pose.
- Lunch time, lets go. And where the hell did you get those clothes?
I sighed and walked pass the workers and made my way around. One of the workers tried to grab my shoulder, but I smacked their hand away. They tried again and I grabbed their wrist.
-Look, I have no patience for this. Be a good person and stop being stubborn. DON'T. TOUCH. ME.
I sunk one of my nails into his wrist, drawing blood. Sarah ran up to me and pulled me away from the guard. I licked my thumb, which had some of the worker's blood. I smirked while Endy and Ramsey ran up to us.
- What's going on?
Ramsey asked and Sarah smiled.
- Layla hurt one of the guards. C'mon. We have to get to the cafeteria.
Sarah led the group. The workers chained me up again and I sighed.
-Why'd you attack them in the first place?
Endy asked quietly. I shrugged, the chains rattling a bit.
-It's only been one day and you're already getting into trouble.
Ramsey shook his head in disappointment.
-Hey! It was the guy's fault for testing my patience.
I sighed and kept walking. The workers watched us like hawks.
