Chapter 1

Gajeel

I walked up to Levy's door step and knocked on the door.

Tonight was our date and I was honestly nervous. I mean, I had to dress fansy to get into this restaurant (they had a dress code). And Lucy told him he had to get her flowers, so he got her a dozen of pink roses since he didn't know any other kind of flower.

She opened the door, she had her hair pulled up in a pink bandana and she had on a cute pink dress with lance straps and pink heals.

"Wow," i said captured by her beauty, "you look cute when you're tall," I winked at her.

She giggled adorably, "you look good yourself!"

"Oh I got you these, Lucy said I had to get you flowers," I said awkwardly handing her the roses.

"Oh!" she gasped, "its like you knew what dress I'd be wearing!" She happily took them. "Let me put these in a vase, you can come in," she said opening the door and walking inside.

I walked inside her house and felt like pig, her house was so neat and organized. But there were book cases all against the walls, it made the room feel smaller.

She pulled a vase out of her cabnet in her kitched then filled it with water and put the flowers in it.

"So where are we going?" she asked running up to me and grabbing my hand.

I followed her out of her house onto the street, "its a surprise," I laughed "gihihihi."

I hope she likes Italian food, I thought.

I led her to the restaurant and when we got there she gasped, "why did you bring me here! this place is to expensive!" she slapped my arm softly.

"Geez shrimp, I thought you'd be excited," I grumbled angrily. So much for my big surprise.

"I'm sorry," she sighed. "I've only been here once with Jet and Droy after we completed a big job that paid us a lot. Its so fancy and," she paused and looked up at me.

"Will you just enjoy it?" I grumbled pulling her inside.

"Hello do you have a reservation?" the girl at the front asked.

"Yes, for Gajeel Redfox," I said.

"That's a table for two right?" she asked getting two menus.

I nodded and she led us to the table.

"Its like Italy in here," Levy whispered.

"What would you like to drink?" the waitress asked.

"I'll take a lemonade," Levy smiled.

"No, we'll have wine, any type that doesn't take like medicine please," I asked.

"We have a strawberry wine, is that alright?"

"Perfect," I said smiling at Levy.

The waitress went to go get our wine.

"So do you like it?" I asked smiling at her.

She started blushing, "it's amazing," she smiled back.

"You're amazing," I rubbed her rosy cheek.

She hugged me and laid her head on my chest, "You are!" she giggled sitting back up.

We got our wine and then ordered some food, Lucy gave me a lot of romantic advice so I was trying to be romantic by ordering spaghetti for Levy and I to share.

I don't see how it was romantic I ended up dropping a bunch of spaghetti on the tuxedo I rented.

After that we ordered chocolate cake with strawberries on top and Levy got a big bite on a fork, no idea how she did that, and fed it to me though it barely fit in my mouth.

She really makes me happy, I thought while looking at her trying to eat a huge bite of the cake.

Its hard to show her how happy she makes me, I'm not the best at showing my emotions.

I really didn't want out date to end, but before I knew it I was walking her home.

"I had so much fun tonight," she said when we got to her door step.

"I did too," I sighed then i grabbed her hips and pulled her into my arms.

"I don't want you to go," she said.

"I don't want to either, but I have to," I hated saying it.

She nodded and picked her up and kissed her.

Her lips were so soft and she always tasted like her strawberry lip gloss.

I put her back down, "good night shrimp," I said.

"Hey Gajeel," she said when she stopped unlocking her door.

"Hmm?" I turned around.

"I love you," she smiled.

"I love you too," I smiled back and she went inside.
