Reddie Travels to Japan

The Arrival

         Eddie
   I woke up to the raspy sound of my mom's voice calling me to wake up. Today Richie and I were going to Japan for two weeks. I was quite excited. I was tired when I woke up so I rolled out of bed and stumbled down the stairs. I entered the kitchen, yawned and rubbed my eyes. I ate some breakfast and packed my carry on. -

        Richie
    "RICHIE! WAKE UP!!" My sister called to me waking me up. Today Eddie and I are flying to Japan for two weeks. This will be our first trip together alone so this should be interesting. I've been taking some health classes so I can get take care of Eddie since he is so fragile.

      Eddie
Richie and I are meeting at the airport at 10:00 am. Our first flight is at 12:20 pm. We are flying to Tokyo which will be a 20 hour flight! I hate flying so 20 hours is going to be a nightmare!!! We are supposed to arrive at 3:20 pm. That's longer than 24 hours!!! There are 2 stops so that'll probably take up the extra 7 hours.

Meeting at the airport at 10:00. Why so f***ing early? I'm going to be in Japan for TWO WEEKS! So, I'd really like to stop by the arcade and play a little bit of Street Fighters before we leave but of course I won't have time.

       Eddie and Richie met at the airport.

       Are you as f***ing nervous as I am?- Richie
           Yes! I'm not ready to be on that plane for 20 hours and what if I need a doctor in Japan? How will they understand me?- Eddie
        Don't worry, I've been taking health lessons to take care of you.- Richie
           Awe! I love you! Just for me?- Eddie
             Just for you!- Richie

          2 hours later
           Eddie
We are boarding in 10 minutes! I'm so nervous! I'm not ready to be on that plane for 20 hours! What if I have a panic attack or run out of my inhaler? Oh my why did I agree to this??? Hopefully I can sleep on the plane. Luckily we got the 2 seats per row tickets so no one will be with us. Hehehe.

Oh god. We are boarding in 10 minutes. What the hell was I thinking agreeing to go on this trip?  It shouldn't be too bad because I'll have my boy Eddie with me the whole time. If he needs to rest his head on my shoulder I'll let him. We have some special connection.

         Group A is now boarding- flight attendant
      Oh god! That's us!- Eddie
     Yep! Let's go!- Richie

      Eddie
We just got on the plane. I'm ready to get this over with and just be in Japan already. I'm like having a panic attack. I do not want to be trapped on this plane. Oh god. Oh F***. What was I thinking??

1 hour later
Richie?- Eddie
Yes Eddie?- Richie
Can I lay my head on you? I'm nervous.- Eddie
Of course!- Richie
Thank you.- Eddie

Eddie falls asleep and then suddenly pops up.

Eddie? Are you ok?- Richie
No.- Eddie
Eddie? What's wrong???- Richie concerned
I had a bad thought.- Eddie
It's going to be fine. Don't worry. Just relax.- Richie hugging Eddie and stroking his hair to calm him down
Just go back to sleep.- Richie
Ok.- Eddie

What was Eddie thinking about? I might be the type that doesn't seem caring but even though I'm the pest/trash mouth of the group, I still care about Eddie. Eddie is my best friend so I wouldn't want anything to happen to him.

See my thought was that I would break a bone during our trip. I know that sounds like nothing to freak out about but if you were like me, you'd understand.

        Five hours later

    Richie?- Eddie
What now?- Richie
   What will happen if I get hurt?- Eddie
  I'll help you. Now let me sleep.- Richie
      Ok.- Eddie

   Richie and Eddie both fall asleep.

Eddie! Eddie! Wake up! F***ing wake up!- Richie
     What the hell. What's wrong?- Eddie
           I don't feel good!- Richie
Oh no. Oh no. Just go back to sleep. And take this.- Eddie
                Ok. Thank you.- Richie

About two hours later the plane lands and the get off and get their luggage

Eddie
What taxi do we take? Where do we go? I'm freaking out. My face is starting to turn red and my eyes are tearing up and Richie is over here just chilling.

Eds? You ok?- Richie
Yeah. Yeah. I'm fine.- Eddie wiping a tear off of his face
Richie? W-where do we go?- Eddie
Are you nervous Eds?- Richie
Yes.- Eddie
Don't worry. It'll be fine. - Richie

Richie hugged me. I started to melt a little inside. It was wonderful. I do really love him. I started to cry afterwards because I didn't know which taxi. Richie noticed my crying and hugged me. I hugged him back.
We found our taxi and headed for the hotel.

Richie
We got in the taxi and this guy starts speaking in Japanese. "What the hell?" I said. I could tell Eddie was starting to panic so I hugged him and grabbed his hand and whispered "it's ok".I went to google translate and typed in the address and showed him. He took us straight to the hotel.

They arrive at the hotel about 20 minutes later.

Richie?- Eddie
Yes Eddie?- Richie
Do you have a girlfriend?- Eddie
No! Do you?- Richie
No. Never. Neverrrrr.- Eddie
Okay! Okay! I get it!- Richie
What do you get? There's nothing to get.- Eddie
Nothing Eddie Spaghetti. I'm just messing.- Richie
Hey! Don't call me that!- Eddie punching Richies arm
Ok... Eddie spaghetti-Richie
RICHIE!!- Eddie

Ok so I reallyyyyy like Richie and I have for quite a while. Every time he smiles at me I get a warm feeling. Like we are meant to be together.
We arrived at the hotel and figured out we had to share a bed. WOW. What the hell. Maybe I can come up with the confidence to maybe you know, ask him out. But what if he says no? That'll ruin the trip and our friendship!

Every time Eddie smiles I get this warm fuzzy feeling inside. You see, I don't have a really good home life so when I'm having trouble at home I think about Eddie. I like really like Eddie. I'd like to ask him out but with my f***ing luck, he'll say no and that'll just break my heart. Maybe I'll ask him to go on a date with me while we are here.

Wow. Only one bed.- Richie
Um yeah. One of us sleep on the floor?- Eddie
I'm ok to sleep with you. If you are.- Richie
Ok Richie.- Eddie
