Unusual

Chapter 1

In the world where every human being has unusual powers, lives an ordinary young man with no powers, William. He is sent to a school which is famous for their powerful students, Westmore High School. He is able to go to the school because of his family's wealth. He owns a book titled "Unusual". The book is about someone who doesn't have any power, but still tries to protect other people. William has a friend, her name is Sarah. Sarah is known to be the strongest at Westmore High School. She protects William when he is in danger. One day, he was bullied by a guy who has the power to turn invisible. He is having a hard time fighting back since he has no power. But William is lucky Sarah came and helped him. Sarah has the power to stop the time.

There is something that  all schools usually do, it's called turf wars. It is when a school challenges another school to see who is stronger. There is a king, a queen, a jack and a healer. In the first round, Jacks from both school will fight. The one that loses will need the king or queen to change them. The king of Westmore High School is Gou and the queen of Westmore High School is Sarah.But Sarah is not interested in turf wars so she decided to quit and she was changed by Sophie.The jack of Westmore High School is Rein. Gou's power is to make forcefields that can crush his enemies or protect his self.

One day, William and Sarah went to the mall. Sarah bought a lot of clothes. When they walked down the  stairs, They saw a guy that can see power levels, the scale is from 1-10, for 5 and above, they will get a prize. The prize is a teddy bear. William called Sarah to check her power level, at first, she doesn't want to but William forced her and she finally checked it out. The guy said, her power level was 8.0 so she got the teddy bear. On their way home, they went to the bus stop, but it was crowded so they just decided to walk home. When they were walking near the park on their way home, William sensed something and grabbed Sarah's hand and ran away. They ran into an alley and William grabbed one of Sarah's shirt and threw it and it was floating. Sarah instantly stopped the time and kicked the invisible guy away. And they went back home. Sarah was surprised by how William can feel that someone invisible was following them. On that night, William had a bad dream about his past...

On the next day, Gou went to Sarah's home and asked if she wants to be the queen in turf wars just today. But Sarah said that she doesn't want to and Sophie is their queen. Gou said that Sophie has family emergencies and needed to go home. Then he said :"join, its for our school" and Sarah accepted Gou's offer.
