Ladies Man: First Day

I was walking down the hallway towards my classroom when I seen my best friend waiting for me outside of home room . "Hey sophia!!!" She yells as she runs towards me. "Hi jesica!!!" I say excitedly as I also start running towards her.

We jump into each others arms like we haven't seen each other in years. "I missed you so much!" Jessica says while holding me tightly and faking a cry. Truth is, l missed her so much over the summer. I start hugging her tighter than I have ever done before. She taps my shoulder pleading with her eyes for me to let her go. I realize this and let her go as she gasps for air.

"I'm sorry I just missed you so much. A lot happened this summer." I explained as I forced a smile on my face. "How was your summer by the way? I have so much to tell you." She asks,  returning my smile while jumping up and down. My smile turns into a frown and she looks at me concerned. I then notice and fix my face. "It was good, how about you? Is your mom doing ok?" I ask while forcing a smile. I can't tell her about the guy who broke my heart, not now at least. I don't want to stress her out about it. "She has been good,and so have i! I've-" she gets interrupted by the bell. So we look at each other, breath in and walk into the class together. We were the first ones there.

The teacher is writing on her chalkboard. She then stops to look at us with a warming smile." Have a seat next to whoever you want. But remember that you will be sitting there for the rest of the year." Me and Jessica smile as we walk to our seats. Of course me and her sat next to each other like we always did every year. She's been my best friend since 2nd grade. Honestly it'd be weird if we didn't sit next to each other.

I place my head down  on the desk and try to hold back my tears. How could alex do this to me? What did I do for him to leave me? Was I not good enough?? I fight my tears but it seems they won the battle. I start crying and can hear the People walking in the door and finding their seats. I didn't care. The only person I have is Jessica. I wipe my tears, force a smile and lifted my head up. Everyone seat was taken but the one next to me." ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS MY NAME IS MRS.GARCIA BUT YOU CAN CALL ME MRS.G FOR SHORT IF YOU'D LIKE! I WILL BE YOUR TEACHER THIS YEAR SO I JUST WANTED TO TALK ABOUT SOME OF MY CLASSROOM RULES AND GET TO KNOW EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU TODAY! I WANT YOU ALL TO FEEL LIKE THIS IS A SAFE SPACE TO BE YOURSELVES! FEEL FREE TO COME TO ME FOR EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING! PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THOUGH I DO NOT TOLERATE FOOLISHNESS AS YOU WILL BE SENT TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE! I ALSO EXPECT TO KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE TO USE THE BATHROOM, AS YOU ARE WELCOME TO USE IT WHENEVER YOU NEED! YOU CAN BRING DRINKS AND SNACKS IN HERE YOU PLEASE! THAT BEING SAID LETS GET TODAY STARTED!" The teacher finishes her  speech and then pulls out papers and tells us " take out a pencil. This is a partner activity." Me and Jessica look at each other and when we get our paper, we finish it in less than 30 minutes. All we had to do was write down things we wanted to know about each student, so of course me and Jessica are going to finish it right away together. " well I can tell today is going to be a good day." I sighed lightly as I look at Jessica and smiles at her. "Me to" she Whispers as she grins. Sometime I don't know what that girl is thinking, it really makes me wonder What IS she thinking?????
