Stella Hudson was born on the first day of spring in the late 90's, in a deluxe private maternity suite in Los Angeles, the city of stars.
Her mother Adeline, as she held her baby girl in her arms, couldn't help but think about how differently she came into the world, 29 years earlier.
Adeline was born on the way home from Woodstock, in a Volkswagen bus on the side of the road in upstate New York. Her parents were tried and true hippies and her childhood would include protests, festivals, dancing under the stars and not one ounce of stability. What her life lacked in stability however, it made up for in adventure.
As she looked at her newborn baby, Adeline decided that she would give her the best of both worlds. Her life would be stable, but full of adventure. She would have her warm and safe home in her Malibu mansion, but she would be encouraged to dance under the stars, just like her beautiful mother.
After Adeline had this thought, she decided what her baby girl would be named: Stella, so she would never forget to dance under the stars that she came from.
Adeline cradled Stella against her chest and looked out the window into the warm LA night. The usually invisible stars seemed to shine a little brighter on that spring equinox. Adeline was getting a true fresh start with Stella. She could feel it in her heart that Stella was something special, a star she had searched for her whole life but could never find. Her guiding
star had finally been born.
From that moment on it was clear Stella was something special.
