I was sure I was about to get rejected. She had paused for a long while. Then she finally agrees. "Oh I love you." I say embracing her. I can feel her smile. That's the best feeling. But I feel weird. It's as if Shailene doesn't truly appreciate me. Or love me. I pull away and scan her facial expression. Right now she's looking confused, happy, and tired. I smile, and kiss her. She pulls away. I glance at her. "Shai?" "Sorry, just let me be a while. I'm kinda tired." I nod, there's nothing else I can do. I'll just have to do something productive. Like buy her Starbucks. No, I need to get my mind off Shai for a while. Maybe go buy flo- no. Maybe I'll just watch something in the hotel room. Ya, that's what I'll do.
