1: Hours

I work at Popeyes part-time. I wasn't sure if they needed me today with it being the weekend, so I decided just to show up. My manger (Fandango) said that for the time being, I need to call in ahead of time to be put on the schedule for each day. I didn't know about this ahead of time, so of course, I didn't do it. So my manager saved me today with calling the real boss(Carlous). He said "No we don't need her today. She can go home for today, and call me tomorrow to put up your work schedule".

Just as I was packing my up things the cook comes over to me. He asks me Why I am leaving. I did my best to explain why, but out of his dear heart, and consideration, he kindly told me to take his hours for today. "Are you sure?" I ask him. "Yes," he replies and gives me hug. I told him "Thank you" in a whisper. He has never done that for me in the past, or for anyone else that I know of. This made me feel as if I was being used. But later, my manger (Fandango) assured me that it was okay. I got a sign of satisfaction from her, which made me feel accepted among my co-workers.

About two hours before I get off, Kevin comes in. My only true friend in here, as well as my co-worker. He saw that right away that something was bothering me. He went straight to the chase with trying to make me feel better, without even knowing what was upsetting me. He and the manger (Fandango) made up a song on the fly about someone getting married in the near future. I had to double check who he was talking about. Once I found out who it was, I knew he was playing around then. This made me smile and laugh.

That friend earned a hug, that I gave him after he convinced me to let him take a smoke for four minutes. I do not like the fact of somebody smoking. He knows this, which is why he double checks with me first. We wave bye to each other after I clock out. I let them know that I will call in tomorrow to hopefully get both Saturday, and Sunday hours. I will see if I need to tell the world what happens next on those days.

I have a crush on Kevin even though his age is at least 24. Here I am 16 year old wanting to dating him but I did not care about the age difference. Kevin just dosen't smoke though he also drinks. I mean I have seen come into work drunk before, which I really do not like. Him smoking and drinking are two things that will like to change for us to date though. Kevin is also taller then me by a few inches. I am five feet tall which is short for my age but I am kind of getting used to everyone being taller than me.
Carlous is the boss of everyone there but when he is not there Fandango is in charge. I prefer Carlous over Fandango any day. I am like Carlous's little teddy bear girl. In other words he cares and is the person that made my experience working here better I beileve. There were two changes made of who we work with. I was hire by a different manjor that made a lot of mistakes. The other change was that there was a district manger. She kept trying to have me work on the week days eventhough I am in high school and do sports.
Fandango likes to kid around a lot but the way he dose it sometimes dose not come out as playing around. He also like to blame me for every little mistake that could of been mind or not. He would put the blame on me for three reasons that I knew of at least. One of those reasons was I am their ypungest worker there. Younger workers have very litte experience in the work force. The last one is that I am a girl. After a while of him doing this I started throwing out little hints in my language to the customers but nothing change. I also was not brave enough to go up Carlous right away because I did not think he would beileve me. The blaming would be when Carlous is not around, which means that he dose not know what really is going on.
