I hide behind a mask,
Of happiness and grins,
To keep other people happy,
Is that a sin?
A disguise to hide something,
I hide my true feelings,
Even though I am breaking inside,
My mask has many meanings.
I hate to see my friends upset,
It hurts my heart,
So I keep them away from my troubles,
Keeping both far apart.
It does annoy me,
When people say I always smile,
But if my friends are smiling too,
I don't really mind for quite a while.
Looks can be deceiving,
For a person is happy when with others,
But when alone is weeping.

PoetryAll I can say is that @Genie_Bunnini said that I should try writing poems again after I stopped (I stopped around 11).
