Chapter 1 : A tragic flashback

****Lix POV****

It was raining as usual. I was just sitting in the couch while watching TV.
I'm watching Infinity wars in netflix while eating popcorn and pizza, yeah I love pizza who doesn't love pizza,right? Actually I don't have any parents because they died on that accident 5 years ago. It was the darkest day of my life, well that was when I am 13 years old back then.

I was sleeping when I hear a loud sound from the kitchen, so I sneak out but I was so shock in what I have saw, a lady lying on the floor with blood on her white dress and a guy wearing a mask and his clothes are all black that have a gun on his right hand. I try not to cry and not even let a sob escape from my mouth but I fail, I felt my tears fell on my cheeks as my body start shaking because of fear. I saw my mother scream from pain and when our eyes met she mouthed "HIDE "as her tears fell from her cheeks and she's breathing heavily . I leave my mother there even though I don't want to obey her that time but that's her last order and that would be my last conversation with my beloved mother so I decided to follow it.

I open the door to my parents room without making noise but what I saw break my heart into pieces as I saw my father lying on the floor showering with his own blood and not breathing. I cry and sit beside of my father corpse and I hold his hand. I feel my anger cover up my whole body.
" I promise dad I.... I would... be a..successful.... woman in the future , I promise" then I heard a loud bang and I cry harder after hearing it. I know my mother is dead now ,I tried not to scream while hearing how many times he shot my mother. "I will f ..f..find justice for you and...and for mom dad" I cried harder after saying that "I.. I will be strong ".

I heard a knock on the door and my body started shaking again, I look for a place to hide and the first thing that comes to my mind is the cabinet beside my parents bed. I walk as fast as I could without making noise. I went inside the cabinet and hide myself in my father clothes.

I hear a sound of shoes coming near at the cabinet and I close my eyes as the sounds get nearer but suddenly I hear the door open and someone said "We should go, the police are coming" and I hear the door close , I wait a few more minutes before I go out on the cabinet and I heard the siren of police cars coming nearer at the house. I went to the kitchen and I saw my mother corpse lying on the floor, her eyes is still open and wet ,her face is so pale then suddenly the door swung open and I saw aunt Allison breathing heavily and said "Oh my god" and her eyes start watering as she saw my mother body then the next thing I knew, she hugs me tightly " I'm so sorry Lix, are you okay ?" And then she checked my body if I have bruises or wounds. "Where is your father Lix, where , tell me where is your freaking father" she said desperately and then I answered her "he's showering with his own blood when I see him in his room aunt" and I cry out loud "Why, why is this happening to me , is this a nightmare please somebody wake me up" I murmured, my aunt hugs me "Everything would be alright Lix Don't worry I'm here, aunt Allison is here stop crying huh ,okay."

Years passed by and I'm 19 years old now and tommorow would be my first day in college and after my parents died, my aunt manage my mother business and my brother manage our father business. Yeah you heard it right I have a brother, he is a big problem in the ass but he's not living with me, he have a condo unit. he visits me twice a week checking if I'm okay or he just want to hide from the girls that hunting him, because the girl is pregnant or something like that,but I don't want him around the house 'cuz "duh" I don't want too see a slutty girl naked in our house and yes he is a player. She would date a girl only a few days or sometimes even hours and after tasting it he would just throw them anywhere he wants, like a trash. Also sometimes he even eat my precious pizza, I don't want to share my precious pizza take note of that ,if you don't want to encounter hell, okay?.

I went to the kitchen and get some soda in the fridge then suddenly my phone rings.

I wish I could wake up with amnesia
Forget about the stupid little things
Like the way it felt to fall asleep next to you
And the memories I can never escape
Cause Im not fine at all.

Speaking of the perverted pain in the ass , I answer the phone call from my brother.

What? I said

Hey that's bad you should suppose to say hello first, you don't have manners kitty, he said as if i was a kid who just curse or something

What the hell kitty ,are you serious Zach? because I think that's one of your girls nickname huh? I said

Hey chill your ass melody, Zach exclaimed

Wtf!!! My name is not freaking melody Zach! I replied in annoyance

Then what's your name , I can't remember it ,wait I got it Jade right. I know I'm hot as hell don't need to mention it. He said, I can feel that there is a smirk plastered on his face now

I roll my eyes at him. Yeah sure you are, bye I said in a sarcastic tone

Hey wait,wait I'm just joking, he said while laughing

It's just you know, I want to check you up because it is our parents death anniversary today, aren't you coming? and his voice become serious with concern and I think he is being emotional now , but trying not to let a sob to escape from his mouth.

Actually since the day my parents die, I didn't even went to their graves because I promise to myself that I would only went there if I find the justice for them.

There's a little bit silence after he said that I think I'm not going because you know, I made a promise right.I said in a sad tone

He let out a sigh Yeah sure, Lix

There's a little smile form in my lips after he said that because even he is a total big jerk he is a very caring and understanding brother to me.

Yeah,thanks, Zach I said , I'm so lucky to have this guy in my life.

Bye Lix he said and ended the phone call,I guess he can't take it anymore,so he just ended the phone call without my answer

Bye Zach I mouthed in the air as my tears fell from my cheeks and I cry harder until I don't feel like crying anymore.

After talking with Zach, I went to my room and take a shower and I wear a pajama and big t-shirt. I head to my bed and stare at the ceilings. I let out a sight I'm sorry dad, I promise I will visit your grave after I find justice for you and for mom .How I wish that mom and dad are here because tommorow will be my first day in college.

I think I should sleep early, tomorrow must be a big day after all tomorrow is my first day in college, I turn off the lamp shade beside my bed and I close my eyes and I let the darkness and silence envelopes me.
