Alexis pov
I'm so nervous to tell mom and dad. What will they say? What will they do? Will they be mad? Will they not approve? Will they~ "Alexis are you okay honey?" My mom asked me with worry in her voice as I'm snapped out of my thoughts. "Uhm actually mom, dad I want to tell you guys something" i say looking down at the table.
My mom reaches over to my hand and puts her hand on mine. "What is it honey?" She said with worry in her eyes. As my dad looks at me from across the small round table. "Well I found a poster and it said maid wanted and I haven't called yet I just wanted your approval before I do" i say worried
"Absolutely not. You don't need a job Alexis" my dad practically yells at me. And I'm took back because he has never once raised his voice at me or my mother. "But dad I just thought-" i try to say but is cut off by a door slam.
"don't worry Alexis I will talk to him he had a really rough day at work" my mom says assuring me. "Mommy I didn't mean to upset him" I say with tears in my eyes knowing I'm the one who made him mad. "No honey it wasn't you" she said brining me into a tight bear hug
