Anelis' P.O.V.
"Anak, gising na!" sigaw ni mama.
"Yes ma!" sigaw ko.
I get up from the bed and walk to the bathroom. It's already 7:00 am, at inaantok pa ako, but seriously, don't blame me. Sino ba naman kasi ang makakatulog kung ngayon ang first day of school nila sa Grade 11/3rd year HS, and I'm nervous, like everyone else is, I hope. School is at 8 am, pero kailangan kong umalis at around 7:30, so I won't be late kasi it's a 20-25 min walk to school.
I quickly dress up and make my way to the dining table. My mom places some pancakes on the table in front of me.
"Thanks ma."
"O sige, kain ka lang ha."
"K po."
After breakfast, I get out of the house and sinimulan na ang paglalakad. It's 7:28 right now.

Nakarating na ako sa paaralan na ito at may 10 min pa ako. Ito pala ang pinakamahal na paaralan sa buong Maynila. Ang pangalan ay 'Cuerdas International School'. Anyways, inglisera at inglisero ang mga tao dito, kaya trying hard ako mag-inglis. Manonosebleed ako dito!
Naglalakad na ako papunta sa unang klase ko ng may nagbangga sa akin.
"Aray naman o!"
"I'm sorry miss," sabi nung lalaki. Tapos umalis na siya.
"Hay!" sabi ko sa sarili ko.
I finally arrive at my classroom with 6 minutes to spare. I scan the room to find an empty seat, and finally see one next to a pretty girl.
"Um excuse me, can I sit here?" I ask the girl.
"Huh?" tas tingin sa kin. "Uh yah sure, of course. I'm Kaye." sabi niya then nilahad niya yung kamay niya sa akin. Ngumiti naman ako sa kanya. "I'm Anelis," then kinuha ko kung kamay niya.
"Are you new?" tanong niya sa akin.
"Yes," I nod at her.
"Welcome! This is my second year here. Oh, if you want, you can sit with me during lunch, if that's okay with you?"
"Sure. Is it only you or do you sit with others?"
"I used to sit with my best friend, but she ditched me for her other 'popular' friends."
"I'm sorry to hear that."
"Its good." she brushes it off.
"Can you-" I get cut off because the teacher suddenly enters the room.
"Good morning class! I am your new Science Teacher for this school year. My name is Ms. Santos."
"Good morning ma'am," echoes the class.
"Today we'll be discussing the....."

Tapos na ang first two classes naming, yes! We have to switch classrooms, so yeah. Yung second class ko English, at grabe! Pero tapos na, so ngayon break time na! Pwede na ako magpahinga at hindi ma nosebleed! Huhuhuuhu!!!!
"Anelis! Anelis! Wait for me!" hingal na hingal na sabi ni Kaye.
"Hey Kaye! How was your class?"
"Ugh, boring! I had Math! You? What did you have?"
"English," then I muttered, "Nanosebleed ako sa teacher ko."
Kaye just nodded then looked at me. "Are you Filipino?"
