I can hear the wind rustling the trees, along with the chirping of the birds. The noise of the forest is music to my ears, its pretty sad that we humans are slowly killing the earth with our machinery. If it were up to me i would get rid of all of it and make people go back to the stone age. I just love the woods or nature in general, if i could i would live here. I even made the biggest tree into a hideout that blends in with the leaves so you can't see it from the out side.
"Blake time for school" my mom yells. I jump down from my hideout heading for my house to get my bike.
"What is with you and being in the woods, why can't you be like a normal teenager" my mom asks me.
"Because normal teenagers aren't any fun, their just idiots. Plus no ones normal, and why do i have to go to school can't i just stay in the woods" i replied really frustrated.
"No, now go to school before i feed you to Herk" she said laughing. Herk is a neighborhood stray dog that is huge, well at least bigger than any normal dog. I grabbed my bike heading for school hoping that some natural disaster will happen so i wouldn't have to go. I took my normal shortcut through the woods, obviously. As i ride my bike i listen to the music of nature until i got to school. Sadly the school is still standing.
"Blake my man, whats up" my friend Aaron says.
"And you have a leaf in your hair"
"Yeah i took my shortcut through the woods hoping i wouldn't have to go to school, and you" i replied.
"Nothing really except for the fact that my bestfriend since elementary school hasn't talked to me all spring break"
"Sorry i was busy" i reply.
"Yeah whatever Tarzan" he says laughing. We started walking to class and my other two friends Ross and Cleo followed behind us. I headed to my first period which was Mr. Whinsky's class, he teaches science. When i walked in i noticed the weird mysterious kid was looking at me. I didn't think anything of it, maybe he was looking around and i walked in when he was looking this direction. I sat down in my regular seat next to Ross day dreaming trying escape from reality.
"Hey Blake the weirdo is staring at you" Ross says laughing. I didn't pay any attention to his bickering i just wanted school to be over. For all the rest of my classes i day dreamed to get it over with, when it came to P.E. i just sat on the bleachers. I wasn't really known as a popular kid or a nerd i was in the middle where you don't get picked on or get too much attention. When i got home i went straight to my hideout and managed to fall asleep listening to the music of nature all day. I was then awoken by footsteps i heard below me. When i looked down out of a window i saw the weird kid walking around. Something was different though his skin was pale and his skin glittered in the moonlight, it was pretty weird. He looked as if he were concentrating on something. He was staring at a deer like he was hungry. He then jumped on the deer and bit into it, it looked like he was draining its blood. When he was done it looked like he had fangs, then in a split second he was gone. I began to think about what i just witnessed, was it real or is my mind playing tricks on me because i haven't eaten today? I decided to just sleep it off and hope that it was just a dream.
