Half of the room raised their wands, George and Draco came and joined us, as did Ginny, Hermione and Ron. "Let's go kick some ass!" I shout and we jump down from the table and run outside.
|after it's all over|
We're back in the dining hall and Morgan is lying on the floor this time. I don't know what to do, and neither do the Weasleys. "He was supposed to have her over again this summer," Ginny muttered quietly and begins crying again.
George hugs her and cries as well, and I try to get another response from my friend.
"Morgan?"
She only looks at me and stares blankly. "Please say something," I plead and she closes her eyes. The doors open with a bang and I see Sirius and Jena.
I see the look on their faces drop when they see their daughter on the floor. Sirius begins running, as does Jena, but he halts when he sees Lupin, Tonks, and Fred.
Jena is over here in a heartbeat and is smoothing back her daughter's hair. Draco comes closer to me and pulls me to him, sensing how worried I was. "She'll be ok eventually, you just gotta give her time," he murmurs and messes with my hair a little. "Draco, hair, stop," I mutter, and he stops. "Sorry."
"It's fine," I return and watch the exchange between the Black family. I think back to our first day, remembering how easily Fred and Morgan had bonded.
"She's not gonna get close to anyone else for a while," I mutter quietly and Draco furrows his brows. "Why?"
"It's kinda what she does, when someone close to her leaves or dies, she blames herself," I say, "Even if it wasn't her fault."
She finally looks over to me, "But it is. He pushed me and George out of the way. If I hadn't been in the way, if I'd acted faster, I could be in his place instead." I felt sick at the idea of her being dead, and I could tell the Weasleys and her parents did too. "No, don't say that. He wouldn't have been able to make it without you," Arthur attempted to say and she turned to him. "I won't be able to make it without him," she mutters and stares blankly at the ceiling.
"He was gonna propose after this year," George said quietly, adding, "He wanted to wait until your last year." I took Draco's hand and held it tightly as she started crying again.
"It's ok," he says and squeezes my hand. I see her fiddling with her bracelet again and I hesitate to ask. "Where did you get that bracelet?"
She gives a teary smile and does something no one had taught— she projected a memory for us to see.
"Fred, where are we going?" She asks and I recognize this as the night of the ball. "Shh, you'll see," he says and winks. She laughs and lets him drag her down the hallway like an overexcited child.
"Open it," he says and hands her a medium sized box. She took it and shook it, smirking when he groaned. "It's not gonna explode!" She rolled her eyes and pushed him a little. "I'm trusting you."
He bit his lip anxiously as he waited for her to open it. When she did, her eyes widened. She pushed up her glasses and looked from the box to him with a surprised smile. She held up the bracelet which was blue and said 'bookworm' on it. "I love it," she says and hugs him. He hugs back and says, "I'm glad. Want me to put it on you?"
Morgan nodded and held out her wrist. He fixed the clasp and she smiled again and kissed him gently before backing away and having him chase her,
"C'mon, that's not fair!" He shouts as he chases her, a sparkle in his eyes. "Bookworm, come back!" He shouts with a laugh and finally catches her. He smiles and she does too. "I love my little Ravenclaw. I don't know what I'd do without you," he says and she blushes. "I love you too. I don't know what I'd do without my lion."
"Let's hope we never find out," he says and winks as he leads her down the hall.
We're brought back to reality and she has tears streaming down her face and so does everyone else, even Draco.
Draco takes me and leads me over to one of the tables and hugs me. "I'm so glad I didn't lose you," he says and I push him away a bit. "I'm glad I didn't lose you either. But dude, chill with PDA. Not only because I don't like it, but..." I shrugged and he nodded. "I know, and I usually don't either, I'm just so grateful."
"I know, I am too," I reply and sit next to him.
"So what now?" He asks and I sigh.
"We try to continue living," I reply and look at him and he smirks weakly.
"What could possibly go wrong?"
I roll my eyes and smile tiredly. "I'm glad it's over."
And then he speaks again, a sentence with a sense of finality:
"This is the end of an era."

Hi hello sorry this turned into almost a every character imagine. I liked the plot too much to change it so I added in as much as I could at the end. But I changed it from a Draco imagine to a Hogwarts one. I'm sorry lol I promise the actual story will be better. ((Btw to my other readers it's over on Thatklutzybandgirl08 but I haven't published it yet. Side note, I will be writing an alternative version to this on here lmao. Maybe two— I'm an indecisive hoe :) Also I know Luna isn't the same age as the golden trio but just go with it lol
