Keep Fighting ~ Hogwarts

The longer we stood out here, the colder I got. He noticed and rather than casting a warming charm, he gives me his suit jacket. I pull it closer to cover my arms and decide to lean against him. I'm usually not touchy feely, but this is one of those rare moments. Draco puts his arm around my shoulders for a while until I step away, and he lets his arm fall to his side. Thankfully, he's not very into PDA either, and he respects what makes me uncomfortable so I really did get lucky with him.

"DRACO!" I shout and run to him, seeing the fear in his grey eyes. "It's not safe, please go back in the castle," he pleads and pulls me out of the way so I narrowly avoid a killing curse.

I see Fred and Morgan in the distance, spells and curses flying from their wands. Draco suddenly pushes me behind him and deflects the curses that were aimed at me. "Come on, we've got to get you inside," he says and takes my hand.

I hear a familiar scream, but I can't go see what happened because Draco is dragging me to the dungeon. "NO! I have to be in the fight, my friends are dying, I can't hide!" I protest and yank my wrist away. "I'm sorry Draco. I love you, be careful," I say and run back outside.

I find Morgan and Fred and find that she'd been hit with a spell that somehow broke all the bones in her arm. I helped the duo fight, hissing when Voldemort's  voice  broke through the fighting. They grabbed each other's hands and Morgan grabbed my jacket sleeve and pulled me along with them. McGonagall began appointing people jobs.

"Fred, George, Morgan, you'll be guarding the wall, can you handle it?" She asks and the trio nods and goes off in the direction. Morgan smiles at me and the at Fred, who takes her by the hand and runs.

"Katelin and Blaise, go help people evacuate," she says and we go off in that direction.

|3rd POV|

Draco is with Crabbe and Goyle, attempting to stop the golden trio from getting the diadem. Crabbe nearly kills them all as he sets off a fire curse. Harry, Hermione and Ron save Draco and Goyle as Crabbe falls into the fire.

Draco stares horrified as his friend of many years falls to his death while he flies to safety with Potter.

Katelin and Blaise are having trouble convincing these younger kids not to stay. "Please, you can't stay you'll get killed!" She pleads with a second year, who retorted with, "And you won't?"

Blaise stepped in and replied, "You're younger than us, you have longer to live. Don't throw it away." Without another word, he pushes the poor child through the tunnel. "Thanks," Katelin says and he smiles. "No problem."

"You alright?" George asked Fred and he nods, smirking. "How about you, mini Padfoot?" George asks Morgan, who nods but looks ready to cry and fight.

Fred hugs her and pulls her down to dodge spells. Fred sees it before he hears it and he shoves his brother and his girlfriend out of the way. "FRED!" They both shout as the wall falls. They frantically pawed at the rubble and felt their hearts stop when they seen the glassy look of his eyes and his last smile still on his face.
