Keep Fighting ~ Hogwarts

It's Draco and a girl with bushy hair and an impatient attitude. "I need to talk to them, so please get out of my way," she says and he glares at her. "Quiet, mudblood," he growls and Jade shakes her head.

"Shut up, Malfoy," Jade mutters quietly and he turns his cold grey eyes onto her. "I'd watch it if I were you. Mudblood," he snarls as if it's the only word he knows. Fred stiffens next to her and glares at the first year, as does his twin and youngest brother. Katelin turns to him and says, "Why don't you shut up? Leave my friend alone." 

Draco sighs and turns. "I don't know why I bother, you're all blood traitors." Jade is staring at the ground in shame and Fred notices. "Are you okay?" He asks and hugs her to him, and she nods, feeling her heart beat faster at the fact that someone was being nice to her. Most wizards aren't nice to her due to her father, because some still think him guilty and also because her mother is muggle born. "Yeah, I'm fine," she says and sighs.

The girl with the impatient attitude stepped forward again. "I was just coming to ask if you had seen a toad? Neville's lost his," she says and steps into the carriage.

"I'm Hermione, by the way," she says and Ron, Harry, the twins and the two girls introduced themselves. "I hope we'll become friends even if we're in different houses," she says with a sigh as they pull up at the place.

"All our first years will be sorted now and then we will have our feast. So, if you'll please be patient, here we go," the professor said as the first years formed into a loud blob of tiny humans.

"Ronald Weasley," a woman called and she gave him a reassuring smile. Ron sat on the stool and the woman placed the hat on his head. "GRYFFINDOR!" The table erupts with cheers and Jade watches as he goes and joins his brother.

"Draco Malfoy," the woman called again and he sat on the stool. Almost instantly, the hat shouts, "SLYTHERIN!"

"Harry Potter!"

"GRYFFINDOR!"

"Neville Longbottom."

"GRYFFINDOR!"

Pretty soon, it was just the two girls left and the woman, who they now knew as McGonagall, called their names. "Jade Black." Jade stepped forward and sat on the stool.

"Hmm, interesting," the hat said, startling the girl. "What?"

"Daughter Of Sirius Black," the hat says, "Whilst you're incredibly brave and strong willed, I shall put you in..."

"RAVENCLAW!" The people at the table cheered and welcomed her as she went to sit with a blonde who soon introduced herself as Luna. "Katelin Weekes," McGonagall called and Katelin went to sit on the stool.

"Hmm..." the hat murmured before it sighed. "SLYTHERIN!" The Slytherin table erupted in cheers and the twins looked across the room at the two girls. Fred smiled a little at Jade and she returned it before she stared at the plates which were filling with food.

After the feast, they went to their common rooms and got settled. Luna and Jade shared a dorm, which was perfect for them because they got along well. Katelin and Pansy Parkinson shared a dorm, which was kinda bad because neither knew what to think of each other and Harry and Ron shared a dorm. And Hermione, bless her, had a dorm to herself for a few hours until she was joined by someone in another year.
