I feel nothing but numb

Stealing something is theft,
Falling for you was me being dumb.
But you stole my heart
And now it hurts.

I feel nothing but numb.

Caught you that day looking at me,
You gave me a smile that was carefree.

Love in your eyes is all I see
That's when I told you dream about me.
Just seeing your text makes my heartbeat thump.

But now that you have left
I feel nothing but numb.

How badly I wish you were here,
The chances of you returning are mere.

I have no option but live with it or move on.
Though the latter seems better
I know I'll choose the former.
