You couldn't help it, even though crying is good because you let everything go and you feel better, at that moment you just didn't want. it was the place, the moment, the memories.

You could see silhouettes of yourself and your ex boyfriend running dodging the long think pines, hiding and finding, just falling more and more for each other

The place made you remember the feeling of seeing him again, Asa. you miss him so much

The day before, you were with him, just playing around, even sitting next to each other holding hands in the very same tree you were now. You had been tons of times there and you could remember his warm palm against yours, and his soft lips kissing your forehead, he was such a gentleman, even to steel a kiss from you, he wanted the perfect moment, even tho you thought that every second with him was perfect

That day it was already late, the sun was setting and the pink color was inking all clouds, you were tired of running so you fall against the blanket that you had laid in the grass, you were laying with your eyes closed, when you opened, your sight was the sky and the top of the trees

"Is pretty. isn't it?" Asa says sweetly

"Gorgeous"

"Like you"

"You are too sweet for any girl"

"I think i'm not worth for you, you are too pretty, too nice, too funny..."

"Keep going, i want to hear" you say trying to make him laugh and now sitting on the blanket

"Oh that's right, you are too funny, too charming, you are an outstandingly rare perfect lady" he said every word at the same time he took a step closer to you, until he nailed in front of you

You were A far away wood, where no one seemed to be at least 35miles away, the only sound was Asa's voice and the birds

He took your hands and softly said

"You are my lady perfe-"

He stood there open mouthed, you had forgot,

it was hunting season

Asa had an arrow right across his stomach, you were breathless and so was him

That night you rushed to the hospital, but you were so far, the closest one was a little house 45 miles away, you were so nervous,

You tied a sweater around his belly, hoping that he will not bleed to death, you drove as fast as you could, luckily, you didn't ran into anybody

You got to the hospital and they quickly took his to the emergency room.

You felt awful, you had gone to a woods in hunting season, now he's hurt, how are you going to be without him, don't lose hope, he's gonna be fine, he will just have a scar

Hours later the nurse came out, tears on her eyes

Oh no. "he won't make it i'm sorry" those words came out of her lips, but it felt like a bullet at your heart

You runned towards your old red truck and drove back up, you weren't thinking clearly, so you were hoping to find him again in heaven by dying too

Back in the woods, were light was already rising, the sun rose letting itself see between all the trees

Now you were sitting there, sad, debastaded, Asa, he was gone

Hot tears went down your cheek, unable to hold anymore. you hear cracking leafs behind you

"The time is closer" you thought, closed your eyes and waited for the arrow across your belly

Waited, even saw your flashbacks, all your life

"Hey! you! girl! out of the way is hunting season! you might get hurt" you hear a man with thick unusual voice

"Thanks for the heads-up. you should say that to your friends" you reply coldly

Put on your jacket and walked back. then the man said

"I will, i just need my ride"

"No thanks, mum says don't talk to strangers"

"Ouch. now my lady perfect is calling me stranger" the unsual voice had gone to a sweet and nice one, and had he just said lady perfect?!

You turn around fast as light,

"HOW THE HELL ARE YOU HERE?!"

"hey! Called a cab, apparently you left me back at the hospital" he says calm and cool

"ASA, THEY TOLD ME YOU WERE DEAD!"

"She was talking to the mom behind you, his kid had fallen of roof and broke his leg, he might not walk again"

"Oh. and how are you?" you walked towards him

"Feeling brave"

The day started with your lips kissing Asa's softly, and hoping that that day was forever
