You heard from Clint who heard from Steve who heard from Bruce who heard from Natasha that there was a "new recruit" that your dad was "mentoring" or something like that.
So obviously you had to check it out like the rest of the nosy avengers. I mean seriously one of them overheard your dad tony stark talking about a new addition to the team and suddenly it's like a national holiday of some shit.
As you walked down stairs there was banners and everything saying
"Welcome to the team"
"You are a great addition"
Plus other "inspirational" quotes probably ordered off of amazon.
Red white and blue streamers everywhere and a cake from one of the most high end bakery's in manhattan. (???)
As you walked towards the kitchen you heard tony run in screaming that he declined the offer and was walking up the stairs so the avengers had at least 30 seconds to clean everything up.
"Hey everyone I'm-"
the brown haired boys expression changed as he saw all the posters, glitter, streamers, balloons, and food set up in the room.
"See cap I told you to clean this up and now I'm embarrassed, I'm so sorry peter. well um how about we have my daughter (Y/N) show you around this facility as we quickly clean this up"
As he turned around and gave Steve a look
The brown haired boy looked at me and his eyes went wide
"yah yah that's cool I mean great."
he was obviously very nervous by me.
"So hey I never caught your name"
you said as the two of you walked down the hall
"oh yeah uh my name is peter man"
"I mean spider Parker"
You looked at him smiling holding in a laugh
"Oh man I screwed that up you can just call me peter or peter Parker if you are feeling formal but my other name is Spider-Man so if you feel inclined-"
you cut him off
"okay peter maybe we should hang out sometime, like coffee or movies?"
"YES, I mean yeah sounds good"
"well o should get back to mr stark"
peter gave you a quick awkward hug and turned around the corner to walk down stairs.
"YES I GOT A DATE WITH A BEAUTIFUL GIRL, WHAT A GREAT DAY"
you laughed and walked away excited for your next encounter with "peter-man"
