"- and then there's Katlyn, she's the captain of the Vollyball team! She's super cool and I'm pretty sure her little brother, Kacey is coming to our school this year,"

I listened to my cousin Aphmau ramble on about her friends while we walked to school. I just moved from [Country/County/Town] to Phoenix Drop and I'm currently living with my Aunt Savannah and cousin Aphmau. Basically, my parents have gone off to tend to some werewolf business so they left me in my Aunt's care. It's all very suspicious, I'm not sure what's so important that I have to leave my own home. But I highly doubt they'll be back for me anytime soon, don't ask me why- I can just feel it.

Anyway I don't mind, I love living with Aphmau! I definitely prefer it to home, my parents are werewolves and they were kinda... old school. They were set on making me into the 'Perfect Werewolf'. I mean it's not like they didn't love me but sometimes... Sometimes I sort of doubted it. I mean they went a bit extreme but-

Enough about my past! My name is [Name] Ululat, I'm fifteen years old and in my second year of high school. Ululate is my last name and it's actually quite ironic as it's Latin for Howl, you see I'm a werewolf. I have [Long/Short], [Straight/Wavy/Curly], [Hair Colour] hair and [Eye Colour] eyes. I have a fluffy black tail and matching ears, I was actually thinking about dying them...

"- He has two brothers, Zane and Vlad- Vlad is actually one of my alone buddies along with Travis! I told you about Travis haven't I? He's really sweet, I hope Dante hasn't rubbed off on him too much over the summer. Dante, he's such a player he dated my friends Kawaii~Chan and Nichole at the same time. Can you believe it? Kawaii~Chan is too nice, how co-"

"Aphmau!" I looked up to see a girl with girl with coffee coloured skin, bouncy brown hair and brown eyes that reminded me of chocolate. I love chocolate, although since I'm a werewolf it kinda makes me sick.

"Ah, Teony, what's up?" Aphmau stopped her rambling to address the girl in the same uniform as us.

"Nothing much, just wanted to remind you that you offered to mentor this year so could you meet me in classroom 14 in a few minutes to receive your arm band!" The girl called 'Teony' said to my cousin.

Then she noticed me. "Oh hello! I'm Teony, I haven't see you in school before and you don't look like a freshman... Could you possibly be the new second year transfer from [School]?"

"Yup! Name's [Name] Ululate, nice to meet 'ya!" I grinned at her and gave her a small wave as we walked beside each other.

Then Aphmau joined in "[Name] is my cousin! She just moved in with me and my mum- it's so exiting!"

Teony laughed "Well it's nice to meet you [Name]! I hope we can become friends and you enjoy your time at Phoenix Drop High!"

You know what? I think I will.
