It was just beginning to snow in the thick, spruce forest.
Lilly, a pure white wolf with icy blue eyes was playing with her older brother, Diego, a light grey wolf with eyes that sparkled like gold. "Hey! Give that back!!" She said. "Never!!" "Diego laughed playfully running around the den. "Emmy!!!" Diego won't give me back my toy!!" Her eldest sister Emmy, walked in from her room.
Emmy was a pitch black wolf with dark blue eyes like the never ending ocean. She picked up Diego by the scruff of his neck and plopped him on the soft leafy bed, and sat down in front of him. "Diego" She said in a stern but caring voice. "You could ask Lilly if you could play with her toys you know."
"I guess..." Diego sighed knowing that she was right. "Go say sorry." "Fine..." He wearily walked over to Lilly and placed the wooden carving in front of her. "Here....." He said quietly.
The wooden carving was found by their mom, Zerina, who was the Beta wolf of the pack, she was a light grey wolf with a white under side. It was found in the dence woods face down in the coarse dirt. Just then the Alpha walked in with some meat for the wolves."Food!!!" yelled Diego and Lilly. The Alpha was a strong, bold and fearless, he was Dark grey and had a grey under side. He dropped the deer meat on the stone rock in the den.
