Hurt

When Ron came out of the Gryffindor common room for that night's prefect round, she has waiting for him as usual. Normally she looked excited by the idea but tonight, she looked like she had a thousand of things she will rather be doing; she has against the wall looking to the side.

He walked to her, when she noticed him she looked up and immediately started the round looking anywhere but him. On the other hand, he seem to have his eyes glued to her, he noticed that all of her body language look furious however, when he looked to her eyes he saw a totally different emotion that he couldn't figure out.

During the prefect round, Ron tried to start a conversation but Hermione insisted in ignoring him; so they just walked while Hermione ignored him and Ron studied her. While he studied her, he noticed that her eyes weren't the only different thing, her faced looked slightly red and swollen. Has she been crying? like she was answering the question, she reached her face with her hand and dried an invisible tear. She definitely has been crying. And a lot judging how she looked. He wanted to punch however made her feel this way.

By the time they reached the common room he realized two things; he couldn't punch that person because it was himself and after the smallest look ever, he knew what was the emotion in Hermione's eyes, it was hurt.
