Two hours earlier

This is the best rush ever. It makes me feel alive and gives me a high.

No I don't do drugs.

Well, it kinda is a drug.

It goes by the name of caffeine.

StarBucks.

I hop onto my longboard. (It's like a skateboard, but longer.) And skate of to my apartment.

"Cherry, I'm home!" I yell to my daughter, Cherie. That's her real name, but I call her Cherry. Or Cherry Pop.

"Luca! I missed you so much!" She screams and jumps into my arms. Yup, Luca is mah name.

"Honey, I was only gone for six hours." I tell her.

"Yea, I know dat," she pouts. "But I still have the right to miss you." She explains.

Now, let me explain.

I'm an 18 year old with an adopted daughter. I live by myself, well not anymore. I've never met my family. Well, not that I remember anyways. I'm a werewolf, and so is Cherie. My wolf's name is Khalid and Cherie hasn't gotten her wolf yet.

My wolf is beautiful. She is pure white. Snow white. The whitest white you could possibly imagine. That's her. She also has purple eyes, like me. Khalid takes pride in her fur. So, don't mess it up or you'll have hell to pay.

Now, what I look like. I have purple eyes, duh, and snow white hair. Twinning much? Having snow white hair just makes it easier to dye it. Which I love doing. Right now it fades from lime green to teal. My hight I would say is probably 5'8", kind tall for a girl.

Ok, we need to get one thing straight. I'm Mexican. Even though I look noting like a Mexican person, I am. All I have is naturally darker skin. I had tests done to find out, and I am. I can also speak Spanish, and I usually do when I'm super duper duper pissed off. Warning.

Cherie is the complete opposite of me. She has steely grey eyes and beautiful burgundy hair. Not red, burgundy. Legit burgundy. And it's natural. As you can tell, we look noting alike. She's only four years old, turning five in two weeks. I have no idea how tall she is, only that she comes up to my mid-thigh area.

Ok, enough about description time, on with the show.

"Let's go to the library, and then the lake, and then the park." She exclaims.

"I don't know Cherry Pop. It's going to get dark out soon..."

"Your a wolf! You should not fear anything." I guess she's right...

"I fear oblivion." I quote, smirking. I just used her favorite quote

from The Fault In Our Stars.

"Whatever," she mumbles. "but can we still go? I need to let my nervous energy out."

This kid, I swear.

"Fine. But only till the sun sets." I explain. She squeals with joy and runs out the door. I love her to death, but man can she be a handful sometimes.

We head out of the apartment and walk to the library. I work at the library. And at the dinner. And at the pet store sometimes. If you couldn't tell, we struggle for money. Today I had the day off at all if them though.
