Even though this is the first day of school Kelsey had still had many friends because she's in marching band and has met people who have not only become friends but have become family that is except for one person her friend Jake. Jake was a little taller than her and he is a junior even though she had found feelings for him she tried to hide them because a lot of people like her friend Sara had told her not to go for the upper class men guys she didn't listen to them. She had liked Jake since the end of her summer camp she went to. When she had first met him she knew there was something different about there first conversation. She had put those feelings aside for awhile and started talking to her other friends and they told her the same things like don't go for the upper class men because they are rude and Kelsey said in her head that it was nonsense because she had met Jake and he was so kind and showed interests into things she liked. As the school year went on the less she believed her friends thinking and so she realized she had a crush on Jake and she had thought oh it's a crush it will go away soon but to her surprise it didn't go away and she was like I should just tell him I like him. So she did and throughout the rest of her marching band season she payed attention to him and found out more things he liked. At their banquet she had sat right by Jake to watch the season montage and almost started crying realizing this coming up season was going to be her last season. She had been dealing with a bad knee and when the montage was over she had asked Jake to help her up and he did and she had asked him for a hug and he gave her one and she was so happy.
