Clementine.
I watch as the rain pours down on the bus window, remembering the exact thing happening on the school bus, but this time, I'm going home. To my childhood home, that I now own.
I'm excited to be back though. I miss this town, and maybe Mrs. Robin still lived next door, she use to watch me while my parents were shit-faced drunk. Well, I guess I'll find out. I get off at the next stop, and walk the rest of way.
Soon, I stop at the childhood drive way I can barely remember.
"Oh! It cannot be!" I hear a woman exclaim.
I turn to see Mrs. Robin covering her mouth with glossy eyes.
I smile, tear springing in my eyes. "Hi Mrs. Robin." I say.
"Oh, my dear come here, come here." She says. I walk over to her, and she engulfs me into a hug. "What brings you back here?" She asks me.
"I live in this house now, I'm graduated." I say, smiling.
"Oh dear, how much you've grown." She says looking me over.
"I was about 12 when you last saw me." I say.
She nods. "I'm glad you're back baby. Remember my grandson? Drake?" She asks.
I nod. Of course, I remember the most popular kid in our school, especially when he lived with my neighbor, his grandmother.
"Well, he's here!" She exclaims.
Great. I smile.
"Drake! Get out here!" She yells, scaring the shit out of me.
Drake walks out, "What Grandma—" He cuts himself off, seeing me.
"Holy shit." He mutters.
"Hi Drake." I say. I had a crush on him until he started bullying me because I was fat.
I was a really fat child.
He walks up to me, "Clementine?" he asks.
I nod.
"Jesus, you got hot." He says, not even trying to hide the fact he is checking out my body.
I scoff and flip him off.
"Oh, you children are so cute! You guys catch up, I'm going to go make cookies for our new neighbor. Have fun kids! But, not too much, if you know what I mean." She winks and walks away.
I can feel the heat in my face.
"So, you want to?" He asks.
I look at him with a horrified expression.
"You're kidding, right?" I ask.
"Never been so serious." He says.
"NO!" I say.
He laughs, "I'll get you one day." He says, and walks off back to the house.
Gross.
I got inside and all my stuff is here already.
That's how the rest of my day went, unpacking.

I wake up the next morning and make a pot of coffee.
While drinking my coffee I look out in the backyard.
