Thought To Be Normal

Chapter 1

This weekend I decided to stay with my friend and have a sleepover. In the morning we went on a jog.

During our jog I was kinda just spacing out till I saw this dark figure half way behind a tree. I rubbed my eyes out of confusion and it was gone. ' i guess i saw that because im tired'

My friend Ava saw me in confusion and said "what's wrong?"

"Oh n-nothing umm I was just thinking"

"Ok if u say so" she said in a questioning manner.

After our jog we headed back to her house. At her house we head it her room and relax.

"Hey we should go do something"

"Like what?" I question

"How bout .....ah let's go skating I haven't gone sense we were kids"

"I'm down" I said smiling

At the skating rink after we bought our skates we head to the rink. As soon as I step on I almost fell. 'well that was embarrassing' I had to stay at the rail for a while. I was really rusty.

'ok I'm gonna let go now' I take a couple of steps then next thing I know I'm falling. 'oh this is going to hurt'. I shut my eyes tightly and braced myself to hit the ground.

Yet I didn't feel the ground at all. I had felt like I was floating. I open one eye to see what happened and to find myself in the arms of a mysterious man. He was quite handsome. Then I realized that I was being held by him like a baby. I hurry to get out of his arms all flustered.

As I rush to get off of him and I some how manged to slip again, but yet again I was caught. ' I'm such a klutz'. "Thanks umm sir" I said while looking down hoping he won't see my blush. 'what the heck Melody why did you call him sir he's like your age' i though to myself.

As I started to head to my friend I heard a voice behind me say "it's Sam"
