easy way isn't always the best way

Start from the beginning

"i- i'm okay, i just. . .i don't know, i feel like i'm in another dimension, it's nothing," she mumbled, "anyways, finn's waiting for me at the backyard so maybe i should go,"

"okay," mrs. brown whispered and got back to what she was doing.

millie went out of her house and was met by the sunlight fixated on her, she put her hand on her forehead so the sunlight won't block her vision. she went to their backyard and saw sight of the freckle-faced boy in an indian seat while strumming his guitar.

"hey," she greeted, finn looked up from his guitar and grinned at millie. "you look beautiful, but you're always beautiful so,"

millie slightly shivered at the boy's comment because it was so unlikely of him to say something like that, she knows finn as this mysterious and cold person and he usually expresses his feelings by actions or by his eyes, those eyes that always told millie stories.

millie went closer to where finn was and did an indian seat as well, the freckle-faced boy's eyes still fixated on millie. "i'm happy that i get to call you my girlfriend, millie," he grinned.

"f- finn," the british girl immediately felt overwhelmed, she felt a blush crept on her cheeks but a part of her felt uncomfortable because finn would never be as cheesy as he was right now.

"should we start?" he asked. "y- yeah, let's," millie replied.

"so first, i'm gonna teach you the chords," he began, "this. . .this is E minor. it's the easiest chord for me," he showed her on where the fingers were supposed to locate and strummed it, "this one's B," he demonstrated, "while this one's C," he changed the position of his fingers, "and. . .this one's D,"

finn taught millie the different chords for a few minutes until she finally memorized it slowly but surely. millie demonstrated the chords to finn and they were all correct, "i got it? I GOT IT!" she said proudly.

"you're such a fast learner," finn leaned in and kissed her cheek. millie gulped at the boy's unlikely actions but she couldn't help but smile widely.

"so. . .what song should we jam out to today?" he said while scrolling on his phone. millie furrowed her eyebrows, "jam out?"

"yeah, jam out. we always jam out to songs whenever we want," he said. "so what should we play?"

millie thought for a moment, "every breath you take by the police," finn looked up from his phone and let out a wide grin, showing that he agreed to the girl.

the song started to play so finn left his phone on the grass and got up and lent his hand to millie, "shall we?" he said in a manly tone. millie couldn't help but giggle.

millie gently grabbed finn's lent hand. he had warm hands, but he always had cold ones. she noticed but chose to ignore.

when she finally stood up, that's when she realized how tall the boy was that she had to slightly look up to see his face. she put both of her arms on his shoulders while his hands are on her waist.

every breath you take

every move you make

every bond you break

every step you take

i'll be watching you

millie looked up once again and his eyes were still fixated on her. you can clearly see more of his freckles and his curls that almost covered his eyes in this angle and his drowning eyes. he looked beautiful.
