Chapter 1

Blinking to adjust to the new lighting, I sat up slowly. My head throbbed harshly and I brought my hand up to my forehead feeling beads of sweat hit my palm. My senses kicked in and I looked around the room quickly. I was locked in a basement. My back was aching from the cold cement floor and my eyes hurt to open; I found myself wishing I could just go back to sleep.

Suddenly a loud banging rang through my ears. I looked up to see a young looking man, muscular and tall, looking down at me with an evil smirk.

"Good, you're awake." He said and tilted my chin up with his fingertips.

For some reason I was oddly attracted to him.

"Who are you and where am I?"

There was a glint in his eyes that wasn't there before. He almost looked like he felt bad for me. The banging noise was back, and another man emerged from the dark corner. He looked similar to the one in front of me.

"I'm Ethan." The man that was once gently touching my chin was now holding tightly onto my neck.

The other one twirled a strand of my hair in between his index finger and thumb. Fear rushed through my veins. Not knowing whether to run or stay put I finally decided on the latter, choosing to come up with a plan of escape at a later date.

I must've gotten lost in my thoughts for too long because all of a sudden I was struggling to move my hands, for they had been tied behind my back.

"This is Grayson." Ethan said, pointing to the also muscular boy next to him.

They were cute, which was weird considering they were my kidnappers. I shook the thought from my brain and focused all my attention on what their next move was going to be.

"Why are you doing this to me?" I stuttered.

"You'll find out soon enough." Grayson replied and left the room, shortly followed by Ethan.

Gasping for air, I wondered how long they were going to keep me here, if they were going to kill me, or if I would ever be found.
