ARABIAN NIGHTS
chatacter- Shahryar
Gender- Male

Shahryar (King):
And so, upon the leaving of my Queen, my heart is destroyed, smashed, shattered. The love of a woman is the cause of all pain to man.They leave us with the embers of love's lonely passion. Drawn in by the hooks of their vivacious beauty, man sails perilously towards the cliffs of his own making. Yet had he not seen women in their purest form, he would have been saved. Before Allah, I swear this decree; the women of our city shall feel my vengeance as this unrelenting hatred burns within my eyes. At every dawn I shall choose a new bride and slay the wife before her. Believe in me, your true and lawful King, wronged by the seasons of women.

ARABIAN NIGHTS
Character- Scheherazade
Gender- Female
My dear sister; I seek your help in a desperately important affair. Father is taking me to the palace to marry the King. When the King receives me, I shall beg him, plead with him, as one last favour, to let you sleep in
my chamber so that my final night can be spent with you, my beloved sister. If my final request is granted, you must be sure to ask that I may tell you a final tale before the sun sets. Sister, with your help I am determined to stop the King's barbarous practice. I will deliver the women of the city from the cruel and murderous fate that awaits them. I am not afraid, if I fail, my death will be a glorious one, yet if I succeed I shall have done a great.

ARABIAN NIGHTS
Character- Comedy villager
Gender- Both

Comedy Villager:
I was down the market the other day, seeing a man about an ass, when I heard the King's new declaration. So the queen's upped and left the poor cod on
his tod. So in some silly old act of revenge, His Royal Highness;
Old 'Beardy Weirdy' has decided to take it out on all the women of this city. He says every morning he'll bag himself a new bride and every dusk she's up for the chop. Now that's confidence right there, this plonker, King Shaaar-haharrr-
rya reckons he can click his fingers and all the women of the city will come running. Pfft, even Aladdin himself couldn't manage that, and he had a magical carpet. Still he is the all-powerful King, so perhaps I should send my daughters away for a while,..... just to be on the safe side like.
