Jenny POV
I wake up quite early this saturday morning. The sun is shining on my eyelids. Damn it, I forgot to close the curtains when I went to sleep last night. Well, I can't fall asleep again so I just sit up slowly, rub my eyes and yawn. I look at the alarm clock next to me. 6:14 AM. I'm definitely the only one awake in the house. I slowly look at my desk. There's my laptop. It looks...tempting. For some reason I really want to sit down at the desk, open it and press that little, blue button that starts it. And that's what I do and only a few minutes later I'm on the internet.
As usually, I start by logging on to my e-mail account. The first thing I see is an interesting e-mail. I click on it.

Hello there stranger.
I was just walking casually yesterday. Did you notice how windy it was? Anyway, I was walking and I saw a piece of paper on the ground. It was a name card and on it was this e-mail address. So the only thing that I know about you is that your name is Jenny (so you're definitely a girl) and that your e-mail is londongirl123@gmail.com.
I thought that it might maybe be fun to be your penpal or something. I actually don't know why I'm doing this. I just need someone that I can talk to that is not on of the people in my everyday life. I promise that this is not a spam and I'm not a pervert. Just a regular teenage guy.
I totally understand if you think that I'm just a weirdo. You don't have to answer this if you don't want to.
Sincerely, Harry.
I stare at the e-mail. Should I answer? Should I tell my dad about this? Definitely not. At least not until I'm sure about this person. I slowly move my mouse and press 'new'. Then I place my fingers on the keyboard and start writing.

Hello Harry.
Like you know, my name's Jenny. I'm 15 years old. I'm not going to tell you more personal info until I'm sure that you're not a pervert. Or maybe just because this will probably be more fun if we don't tell the other person anything personal except for first name and age. Agreed?
I would love to be your penpal. I've always wanted to have one.
Sincerely, Jenny.
I take a deep breath and press send. There's no turning back now.

From author: I just want you guys to know that the e-mail addresses do not exist. Or at least I hope not. These were just two random ones that I made up.
