and they never did.

the next few days were filled with suggestive jokes and endless teasing, even when they were boarding the plane back to korea.

the team had reached the airport and checkes in their luggage. now they were heading towards the boarding gates to wait for their flight home.

ah, min-ho just can't wait to be home. china was nice and all but nothing beats the comfort of being in your own country and surrounded by your own people, who speak a language you can understand. while in china the team had to resort to hiring a translator and although the translator did his job well, it was still quite a hassle.

min-ho was sure everyone else wanted to go home too. chan-yong missed his wife so much. yong-in and jae-hyuk were still arguing about kpop idols. the rest wore neutral expressions and minded their own business when they were not busy teasing min-ho about his little crush.

(min-ho was sure his crush wasn't "little", though.)

"oooooooooh, look who's here~"

the smirk on chan-yong's face was unmistakable when a familiar group of people came into their line of sight.

sk telecom t1.

the rival team stopped in their tracks before eyeing samsung galaxy cautiously, clearly wondering what's going on. both teams were heading towards the same direction.

chan-yong lifted his ticket up. "gate a5?"

jun-sik, or bang, glanced at his own ticket and nodded, both at samsung galaxy and his own team. "yeah, gate a5."

"same flight huh..." chan-yong commented.

both teams exchanged awkward glances before seung-hoon, or huni, suggested they better get going to the gate as it was closing in fifteen minutes.

and so the two teams did just that, but barely spoke to each other. samsung galaxy didn't want to seem like they were cocky and showing off, and sk telecom t1 didn't want to relive their bitter memories either.

skt walked ahead of ssg, the two teams not wanting to make any unecessary contact.

all the while min-ho stole quick glances at sang-hyeok, or faker, who was walking significantly slower than the rest of skt. he noticed that skt's midlaner had dark circles around his eyes, much like a panda. he also looked extra pale... perhaps he was sick?

not to mention that the airport was cold as well, and sang-hyeok wasn't wearing a jacket.

min-ho frowned.

he wasn't sure if he was doing the right thing... but he guessed that it was better than leaving sang-hyeok at risk of being sick.

as if on cue, sang-hyeok suddenly covered his mouth and coughed.

'well,' min-ho thought, 'it's here goes nothing...'

"hey, take my jacket."

min-ho surprised himself, and members of both teams, when he suddenly walked up beside faker and put his jacket over faker's shoulders. chan-yong was particularly surprised that min-ho managed to say that without stuttering or looking flustered.

in reality though, min-ho was burning up on the inside, but tried his best to keep his cool.

a faint blush came on sang-hyeok's face, before he quickly looked away and rejected min-ho's offer, replying, "i-it's okay. i'll be fine, the weather here's just a bit chilly, that's all-"

"no," min-ho insisted stubbornly, positioning the jacket properly so that it rested on sang-hyeok's shoulders without falling down, "you're looking too pale. you're gonna get sick if you keep this up."

sang-hyeok looked a bit flustered now, but min-ho wasn't sure if that was only because he was sick. he smiled at sk telecom t1's midlaner, showing that he really meant no harm.

sang-hyeok reluctantly accepted the offer and proceeded to silently enjoy the warmth of min-ho's jacket.

min-ho found the skt midlaner extremely adorable, he had to stop himself from squealing out loud.

jae-wan, or wolf, noticed that sang-hyeok was lagging behind skt and glanced back.

to his surprise sang-hyeok was wearing a samsung galaxy jacket, and a jacketless min-ho was walking beside him as if sang-hyeok was somethimg precious min-ho needed to protect.

jae-wan looked closer and noticed sang-hyeok's dark circles and pale complexion, and immediately stopped the other members.

"guys, slow down," he breathed, clearly alarmed, "shit, i didn't notice sang-hyeok wasn't feeling well..."

the members of skt quickly slowed down their pace and retraced their steps to see sang-hyeok and check on his condition.

min-ho noticed how tired and disoriented they were, to the point where they didn't notice that one of their members had fallen sick.

he felt terrible now, for beating skt. but then again, it's a game. there has to be a losing team.

sang-hyeok coughed, much to his members' growing worry.

"please don't stress out too much or you'll end up like him," min-ho shyly suggested, "i'll take care of him. we're in the same flight anyway. you guys get some rest and sleep on the plane."

the skt members looked at sang-hyeok. he mumbled a soft, "i'll be fine. you guys should rest."

wang-ho put up his ticket. "wanna switch? you can sit next to sang-hyeok hyung if you do."

min-ho was about to not hesitate and quickly switch, but didn't when he noticed that mischievous glint in wang-ho's eyes.

wait, what's going on?

suddenly he noticed his team members exchanging looks with the members of sk telecom t1.

chan-yong and jae-wan were whispering something to each other and they both looked amused.

"hyung, please switch. i wanna sit with wang-ho ssi," min-seung asked innocently, but min-ho had a feeling that he was up to something.

before he could say anything min-seung rapidly swiped min-ho's ticket away and replaced it with wang-ho's.

then the two junglers went off before min-ho could properly react. the rest of the two team mouthed things like "good luck" "take care of him" "don't mess up" and more of that sort before smirking and walking away as well.

min-ho suddenly realized what their plan was.

he was embarrassed, but it was too late.

lee min-ho will be stuck sitting next to lee sang-hyeok for the rest of the flight.

but then again if you're sitting next to the person you like... it's not called being "stuck", right?
