Chapter 1

Zac's POV
Sociopaths? That is a funny word. What does it mean to you? To me it means a person without feelings and doesn't care about others. Having no feelings and caring about others means that you don't get hurt or broken. Feelings? Sociopaths? Funny words but they are forbidden here because of me. Where is here? I am in a mental institution. Not just any mental institution, Lier Sykehus. It is one of the most haunted mental institutions in the world. I see crazy things all the time. You must be wondering why I'm in this place. Well, I see people who aren't there apparently. I don't think I'm mentally ill or "insane", I think the people who put me in here are.
Sociopaths? You might be wondering why I made sure to make these words forbidden. It's because I was tired of hearing them all the time. I'll never get used to the day my parents called me that. It was after I killed my sister. She got on my nerves and she knew that was not going to pass by me so I beat her to death will a bat. It was fun at first but I got bored rather quickly. I never showed any emotions of any kind, ever. Not fear, happiness, or sadness. Oh, right my name is Zac, Zac Matthews. I always forget my manners, my bad. Screaming. I hear it constantly. I mean I hear it right now as a matter of fact. It must be the new girl or guy because I never heard this scream before, I chuckle. 'Pathetic, I've been here for 6 years and have never screamed,' I thought to myself. 'Knock knock' I heard. My meds are here once again. I open my door to see my nurse, Christine Collins. I smirk and hold my hand out. Christine placed a small pill in my hand and a small cup of water. I closed the door. Christine has red hair that is always in a bun or ponytail and huge brown eyes. She is okayish in the look department. The thing that has my attention right now though is the new girl and guy. They are siblings at least that is what I was told. All the guys told me that she is the most gorgeous girl in here and I also heard the girls say that her brother is really good looking. At least that is what everyone else says. I haven't even seen them yet. Oh well, we get free time today. So I get to see them both. All I know about them are their names, Rebekah and Kol Mikaelson. They both have nice names that is for sure. Sociopaths? I wonder why they are in here 'Ding' the doors unlock. That tells me when we are aloud to leave. I opened the door and walked out. When the other patients saw me they ran in the other direction. Everyone considers me the King of the institution. My friends are weird but they are really fun to hang out with. Jake Davis, Tanner Tan, and Carson James. Jake has shaggy blonde hair and grey eyes. Tanner has short brown hair and baby blue eyes. Carson has platinum blonde hair and dark blue eyes.

   

I on the other hand have dark brown almost back hair with blue eyes. I see my friends at the end of the hall waiting for me, as usual. When they saw me they started to run towards me, pushing each other in process. They stop in front of me and get on either side of me.
"So Zac, what kind of problems are we getting into today?" Tanner asks.
"None actually. We're going to find the new girl and her brother," I say and start to walk away.
"Alright then," Carson says.
The thing about my friends are that Tanner and Carson talk a lot but Jake barely says anything. When he does it is always the funniest thing. There isn't really anything special about us besides that fact that we turn into beast on the full moon. It is what we call werewolves. That is mostly why everyone is scared of me. My friends aren't as mean and scary as I am.
Carson broke me out of my thoughts as we entered the main room by saying, "Zac I found them."
I looked in the direction of where he was pointing and saw them. Kol and Rebekah Mikaelson.
I heard whispers, "The King is here." "We have to leave he is here." "The King and his friends are here."
I smirked at that and watched the siblings look around after they heard that. I walked up to the Mikaelson's with the guys by my side.
"You two must be new here. I'm Zac Matthews, that shaggy blonde is Jake Davis. He doesn't talk very much. The brunette is Tanner Tan. He talks to much. The other blonde is Carson James, he is very annoying," I say.
"Come on Zac, don't be mean," Carson whined.
"See what I mean," I say.
"I'm Kol Mikaelson and this is my little sistah Rebekah Mikaelson. Do you be chance know who the others were talking about. The King and his friends?" Kol asks.
Kol was a brunette with chocolate brown eyes. The girls were right. He is good looking.

Rebekah was a blonde with gorgeous blue eyes. She was the most gorgeous woman I ever saw.

"Yes we do know exactly who they are," Tanner says.
"Then who are they?" Rebekah asks in a very beautiful voice.
"The King is me and these are my friends," I say then I turn around and walk away with the guys in tow.
