Daniel's POV:

My eyes open to the sound of my phone, signaling me to wake up. My ruff hands search for the phone until I hear a crash.

Not again, I thought as my phone tumbled to the floor. Well, at least I don't see the damage on the screen.

If you can't tell, I'm blind. I've been looked down upon as a burden and pitied, this stupid situation has been apart of my whole life.

"DAWN! My phone fell again and the stupid sound won't turn off." I speak in anger with a hint of raspiness coming from the back of my throat.

"DAWN!" I speak again, I also get agitated easily. If you hadn't noticed, again, Dawn is my 'Butler/servant' kind of guy. Really he's just a close friend of mine who would fight tooth and nail with or for me.

I should probably introduce myself, I'm Daniel Sachs. I'm twenty-six years old who is an owner of most high business companies. I also like to party, well, what I can mostly do at parties.

Apparently I'm also a "Ladies man" if you would call it that. But they're all gold diggers who only want attention. That's not the way I roll.

Most friends of mine are the die hard crazy partiers. They were the ones who got me into partying, but once they let some skank rub her junk on me, I had enough.

Anyways continuing with the start of my day....

"You....called Dan...iel....", Dawn pants as if he ran across the world.

"Dawn, why are you panting?" I ask curiously but also annoyed. This guy can be either the wisest and smartest friend you'll meet, or the dumb guy who can't get a clue. No in between I swear!

"Well excuse you Mr. Fancy pants, but I was in the middle of watching Stranger Things Season 2 and you had to interrupt it!" He says exasperated

Hearing the sound of his voice I'm guessing he's at the end of my bed. So with my best sense, hearing, I turn towards him the best I can before giving him the you kidding look.

A moment of silence was swept upon us after my stare.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He randomly bursts into laughter, scaring me half to death.

"Dude, no offense but, first, that was the funniest thing I've ever seen today! Secondly, again, no offense, but... STS2 is more important than your phone." He says still chortling away as the phone still beeps.

I roll my eyes with annoyance, even if I can't see him, he's still annoying my other four senses.

"Just grab the phone and tell me what time it is." I say to him to end the conversation.
Hearing him pick up the phone, I hear a muttered 'uh oh' from him.

The only positive thing about this blindness is my other senses have heightened.

      Wait..'uh oh'?

"What do you mean 'uh oh' Dawn...?" I speak low and slowly, afraid of what he's going to say.

"U-u-um-um-m.... It's 6:50 A.M Danny.." He stumbled over his words making it almost impossible to hear him. But I did....

Taking a deep inhale and slowly releasing it like my therapist told me to, I slowly ask him, " Dawn, you do know my alarm was suppose to awake me at 6:00 A.M, right?"

      "Yes...."

"Hmmmmm... I see, so, WHY IS IT 6:50 A.M NOW THEN!"

"W-we were having a-a-a fun talk b-bro weren't we?"
