POV Dean
Everyone has had this period in their life when your existence seemed pointless. When you wake up in the morning thinking everything is terrible and it'll be worse. I have this period right now.
My name is Dean Winchester. Recently I was a successful person who enjoys his life. A great post, a girlfriend, good friends... I've lost my job because the company, I worked for, has failed. I went into debt cause I believed things will get better. But I was wrong, everything has gotten worse. Then here came the domino effect. My loyal friends turned on me, my girlfriend thought about breaking up with me a long time ago. I hated myself and, the people around me. I wanted to revenge everyone for my failure. It all happened on that day. I got out.
It was pretty late, I, as usual, was sitting at the stale bar. I quickly pumped myself with the cheapest beer, spending my last few bucks and trying to forget myself. The barman looked at me with pity, as I swallowed my third glass on the house. My entire focus was on the guy sitting at the opposite end of the bar. He was talking to a waitress. I didn't know him but I hated him with every part of me. He looked so fucking happy. He was handsome and a bit skinny. His hair was black like pitch. He was wearing decent clothes and wasn't so broke as I was. Although his life was really rough. When it reached closing time and I was the only visitor in this fucking bar, I saw him washing the floors. I witnessed how his bid chewed him out, docking his pay. I knew how local alcoholics treated him like dirt but he didn't look broke. He finished his work and now, like nothing had happened he was smiling at this girl. He did not know how it annoyed me.
Hey, buddy. We're closing, the barman called me gently. I got up without saying anything and put a bill on the smooth surface and went to the exit. I was drunk as hell. "I feel sorry for him", said that black haired guy. It was the last thing I heard before the door slammed shut right behind my back.
I wandered into some kind of alley. Then I leaned against a dirty brick wall and lit up a smoke. I, actually, don't smoke and being drunk every day isn't my style. But as I said before, there are times in our lives when you're not yourself. After taking some puffs, I slowly blew smoke. Suddenly, I heard footsteps near me and I heard rumbling like something dropped. I stuck my head out of the corner and saw this guy from the bar. He was diligently collecting something off the pavement. He, fortunately, didn't spot me. Suddenly, I got a horrible idea in my head and I couldn't repress the desire to live out of it.
I laid low around the corner when the footsteps started to reverberate between two buildings. When the guy showed up in front of me, I grabbed him by the collar and nailed him to the wall with a loud blow. I heard him gasping all of a sudden. As soon as the guy touched the wall, my hand immediately hit it, near the brunette's head, blocking the way to escape. The stranger was terrified and he did not even try to move, although, maybe he recognized me. I had time to look at his face closer. His blue eyes were shining in the light of the moon with something inhuman. He was perplexed and tried to find the way for salvation. The ideal lines of his lips were curved in fear.
"You feel sorry for me?" , I hissed maliciously, grabbing the guy by the hair and hitting his head against the wall with force. I saw how his beautiful shining eyes moistened and I enjoyed it. He made a desperate tug ,trying to escape, but I knew all possible ways to run away. Physically, I'm much stronger than this jerk and he knew that, so he tried to steer everything into peaceful courses.
"Listen, I have some money. I'll give them to you. Just let me go, please" , he begged me, trying to take my hand off his hair. It made me so amused. The grin involuntarily distorted my face. I drove him deeper into the alley, depriving him his last chances to escape. I, finally, cornered the guy in the corner.
