Oh Hello, my name is Deveraux Mercer, a teenage boy with powers that almost reach Godlike level, worked as an Agent for the Gods I contracted too, also don't forget my childhood filled with fucking dark childhood. And now I will tell you guys the story behind it.

[Story Start]
One day, its just a regular happy day where the town filled with childern laugh, jokes, and people talked about happy things Until there is an unknown Entity came out from nowhere started to destroy the town I lived and killed the citizens. Luckily enough I saw that from a window, ran out from my bedroom, try to called my parents. But I forgot that they in the place where that Entity attacked, Dread filled my heart but I ignore it, I have one option now. Save Cynthia, My best friend that always beside me.

I ran as fast I could until I arrived at her house, I saw her house damaged, I entered and searched around the house while taste of fear crept up at my heart, I heard a girl scream, "CYNTHIA!!" I thought. I escaped from her house and saw Cynthia getting dragged by those deformed tentacles. I tried to after it, and easily catched Cynthia's hand.

"Deveraux, please let it go. I don't wanna you get killed too" Said Cynthia

"NO, I WILL TRY HARDER!!" I said ragely, but dread and fear slowly crept into my face

"Deveraux..... thank you for being my friend and.... I love you" Said Cynthia, while she smiled at me with tears on her violet eyes. She let go my grip, I stared at her with shock and horror..... suddenly, The Entity looked at me and it roared until I felt a heavy push. I landed on the ground very hard, my body felt pain and numbed all over the place, tears started to forming in the corner of my white eyes.....

So, this is where I going to die. I felt weak, powerless, hopeless, and useless, But there is a voice... No, more like a group of voices

The Voices : "Do you want Power??"
Deveraux : "yes.." *whisper*
The Voices : "Do you want to protect your Loved Ones?"
Deveraux : "Yes!"
The Voices : "Do you want to kill The Roots of Evil?"
Deveraux : "YES!!!" *roar*
The Voices : "So it Begins"

Within the second, i felt massive pain on my head. Unknown Energies through inside me like a thousand nails stabbed on my body, brain, and mind. The pain faded away, then I opened My glowy red blood eyes and tried to stand while I giggled....... but behind the giggle filled with Madness then he laughed of insanity....... and at last, a demonic roar came from My mouth that made all inhabitants ran with fears and horrors. The fabric reality around Me started to crack, The Sky turn into red blood, grounds around me start to shake, but suddenly...... my world filled with black.

Eyes snapped open from My slumber, i tried to stand and observed the environment around him. Grey desert, no planetary, white-ish sky.

"Heh, so this is the afterlife looks like" i thought gravely.

I felt a presences, I turned around, and I saw them. A group of people or creatures wearing in black and a white blank mask that covering their faces.

"Deveraux Mercer, we means no harm." They said.

"Wh-who are you people and where am i!?" I said while stuttering, I feel off about those people.

"We known as The Higher Powers and as a place, you're in our dimension, not afterlife. We are a group of godlike entities that keeps a balance of the universe, We exterminate any kind of Threats that can destroy Humanity. And we can be ruthless about threats we dealing with." They said the last part with an hollow voice that sends chills down unto my spine. "So, basically you guys are... gods??" I said nervously.

"In a way, yes. you've been chosen by us to become a guardian, a fool, and a Saviour." I tried to say to said something but The Higher Powers cut me off quickly. "The Town destroyed and all citizens is died, your friends, your parents, all of them." They said solemnly, tears forming in my eyes that I wanna gi- "but we still can feel the presence of your friend, we think that Entity just only prison her." I looked at them with half shock, so there is still a hope

I hang down my head, my emotions filled with Rage, Determination, and Hopes. I clench my hands tightly, I looked up at them. I realized that an expression slowly crept unto my face, a Predator Grin with eyes of full eagerness and Determination.
"Where do I start?"
