Chapter I

15 year old Betty Cooper's life had fallen apart. The black hood serial killer had called her , and called her , and called her , each time he demanded something of her, first , she had to pick a nasty fight with her best friend , Veronica Lodge, then , she had to break up with her boyfriend Jughead Jones. And why was she doing this you may ask? Though it's true that she did these things to protect those she loved, but that is not the only reason. You see , every time she did what the Black Hood wanted, had to answer a question Betty had truthfully. And Betty thought she was being smart, protecting her family and friends while she still got leads as to who the black hood is. The grim truth is , is that The Black Hood was only started with his reign of terror, for he was forcing Betty to separate herself from her family and friends, making her be alone , without the ones she loved to support her, she was vulnerable. Because there is a darkness inside of Betty , that has always been there, shaking inside of her, itching to get out. And The Black Hood wants to weaken Betty , so that her darkness will come out .
