Isabel Lily Potter is an eleven year old small for her age with fiery red hair, soft brown eyes and a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt on the inside of her left wrist.She had had the scar for as long as she could remember.
She lived in Ms Chamber's Orphanage for Young Girls. She was the oldest orphan and because of that she had to do all of the work which included making breakfast for about fifty people and cleaning all of the rooms in the orphanage.
She often did unexplainable things so she was often called 'Freak'.
Isabel's POV (31st of July )
I woke up at four in the morning so I decided to start working. In an hour or so I was done.I went back to my room and started drawing.I used an old school copy of mine.Today I drew the old clock tower that is right outside my window.Suddenly I realised that it was time to make the breakfast.I got it made in the nick of time before taking the money Ms Chamber gave me for food and dashing out the door.
I was so happy to be outside again that I didn't look where I was going and suddenly WHAM! I had walked straight into a rather severe looking woman with black hair in a bun at the back of her head.She wore green tartan dress that went almost to the ground."I am so sorry"she apologised as she held out her hand for me.I took it hesitantly as she pulled me up my sleeve fell back revealing my scar.She gasped and said "where do you live"I pointed to the Orphanage "thank you"she said and hurried off.It was all very weird but I was too busy to dwell on it for too long.When I got back I started to clean the breakfast. When I was finished I walked upstairs
and into my room to my total and utter astonishment I found the severe looking woman sitting on my bed.I gasped "I....but....what " My name is Professor McGonagall"I have come to offer you a place at the school where I work it is called Hogwarts and it is a boarding school.But more importantly it is a school of magic". "M...magic"I stammered "You are a witch""I...I'm a w...witch"I stammered
again."Yes"she replied "could...could you please show me some...some magic""Of course"she answered.She took out her wand and gave it a wave as my ragged,old clothes become a flowy light green top,denim jeans,light blue ballet flats and a matching cardigan."Wow!I definitely believe in magic now"I gasped.She handed me a letter it said

I read the letter and then pulled out a longer page than the first one and read

3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4.One winter cloak (black, silver fastenings)

I was so tired and excited that I fell fast asleep there and then!
