A Vampire's Touch

Chapter 15 ~•Stranded•~

"Cameron?"

"Heyyy Grace," he says in a innocent voice.

"What are you doing here? And why are you following me?"

"I was just checking to see if you were okay. I gave you the needle and I wanted to see if it worked."

"Yes it did and I have to force and push myself to keep going with Mathew," I say.

"I also need to tell you that you guys need to leave immediately. My dads guys are coming here so you need to leave, now!"

"Okay okay! I need to go find Mathew."

I walk away and I run towards the bathrooms. I see two vampire guys walking near that area. I quickly walk away and I turn to see where they're going. All of a sudden I bump into someone.

"Grace! I told you to stay put, I was looking for you a-"

"Not now Mathew, we need to leave right now!"

We speed walk towards the doors which lead outside. We walk in the shadows again, trying not to be noticed.

Once the bad guys are gone, we slow down. I look up and notice that it's getting dark.

"Mathew we should find a place to sleep."

"Yes I know, I'm looking," he looks around. "There! We can stay the night there."

We walk towards the abandoned house. Mathew rips off the cardboard on the window, then we jump in. It's a small, one floored house. There's a rusty and ripped couch in the room.

We go sit away from the boarded windows. I snuggle next to Mathew, trying to get comfy on the floor.

Mathew hands me the backpack. "Here use this as a pillow, I used it yesterday so it's your turn."

"Wow you're actually nice," I say while taking the bag.

"Oh shut up! I'm a changed man."

"Sure you are!"

It's been two hours and I still can't sleep. I keep tossing and turning but nothing works. I keep thinking about Ethan.

I lift my head up and squish the backpack and put my head back down.

I can't believe I forgot about him. I feel stupid and ashamed for not knowing him for a while.

Every morning I always get this feeling in my stomach because I know I'm gonna see him that day. Even when he just says hi I get this joy that bubbles up in my stomach.

I can't help but smile each time I see him. I always see him and I feel like hugging or holding his hand. I always have this longing for him.

I have never ever felt this way before and I'm scared but happy. But he does the slightest thing and it makes me smile or laugh. I know I will never like someone this much.

He is my one and only true love. I know it's stupid, people always say "you're 16 what do you know about love?" I know a lot thanks to him. No one knows how I feel, and I hope he feels the same way but I know he doesn't.

He has the most gorgeous light blue eyes, and light brown hair which always seems to stay to the side perfectly. I never really knew what love was, now I know a whole new level of love.

He's my everything, he's my heart, my life, I don't know what I would do without him.

•Real Memory•

"You ready?" He asks

"Ready for what?"

He smiles. "I'm taking you somewhere special."

He holds my hand and we walk down the corridor. We get to a door and he opens it. We walk in and lets go of my hand and he closes the door. I look around and realize that it's Ethan's room. There's a bunch of pictures of him and his mom on the drawers.

He opens his closet and opens a door that's in his closet.

"Lady's first," he says while gesturing for me to go in.

I hesitate then walk in, and there's a bunch of stairs. I walks up the stairs, and I feel Ethan behind me. I open another door and I realize that I'm in a green house type of thing. I look around and see a bunch of plants and some animals in cages. I gasp in astonishment, this is so beautiful.

"You like it?" Ethan asks.

"This is amazing." I say while walking forward.

I got to a cage with a yellow bird in it. I put my fingers through the cage bars and pet the bird.

"He usually doesn't let people pet him. But he really seems to like you," says Ethan behind me.

I turn around and Ethan isn't there.

"Ethan?" I say while walking down the aisle of plants and animals.

"Grace, over here," I hear Ethan's voice say behind me.

I turn around and see nothing again.

"Ethan? This isn't funny!" I say while laughing too.

I hear fast movements around me, but each time I turn I don't see anything. All of a sudden someone tackles me lightly to the ground. I look up to see Ethan on top of me.

"Oops sorry," he says.

We stare at each other for a while, then I laugh. I lightly punch his shoulder.

"You're an idiot!"

"I take that as a compliment," Ethan says while getting up.

He holds his hand out, I grab it and he gets me up.

I wake up from that wonderful memory. I wish I wasn't here and I was with Ethan.

I get up and wake up Mathew. Once we are fully awake we get up and start to walk outside again.

"We're almost at the place, we can eat breakfast there," says Mathew.

We walk for about 20 minutes and I see a average size building.

"There it is!" Says Mathew.

We start to speed walk towards the building. We get to the front and Mathew inhales slowly. He lifts his hand and knocks on the big door.

Nothing happens. He knocks again, nothing. He opens the door and slowly walks in, me behind him.

"The door is never open, something's wrong," whispers Mathew.

We walk in and no ones in sight. There are a bunch of beds but no people. All of a sudden I see a flash of someone running. The intruder stops and I look closely. It's sir William!

"Hello Grace, we meet again."
