You have to understand that Liam was extremely observant. That is, when he wasn't zoned out thinking about 'life's greatest mysteries'. Which was a strong 50 percent of the time. But that other 50 percent, he saw things no one else did. The crack that looks like thunder on the sidewalk on his way to school? The flower in his neighbors yard that looks slightly wilted by 6:00? The girl across the street with beautiful eyes that have bad under eye shadows? Yeah, he noticed all of it. He noticed things deemed insignificant by society, yet he loved every insignificant detail about them.

Hannah called herself one thing; insignificant. And no, it wasn't angst. Or maybe it was. Her way of looking at things was just... well, unconventional. In a world full of a million Hannahs, what gives her a right to think she's more important then any of them? That's why Hannah layed low. Didn't draw any attention towards herself. I guess you could say that's why she over analyzed everything. She observed (and analyzed) what a normal human being wouldn't even put a thought into. The way her Aunt said good morning? The bus driver's expression as she got on the bus? The kid across the street and how he smiled at her? Yup, she totally over analyzed it all. Yet she cherished every single detail that she picked up.
