The white hare in certain parts of brand it is said that the spirit of a broken-hearted maiden will appear as white hair this maiden. When human is said to loved a man with all her heart and soul or was betrayed him/her returned in the form of a hare to follow and hunt the same man in a few occasions, the the hare will even protect the man from danger just so she can continue to trouble, him until his eventual death. His death will be attending the hands of the white hare visible only to him in a way that satisfies her need for vengeance.
