Even in the busiest moment, I was still thinking about James Dean. I really can't help it, I mean the gentleman was definitely stamped in my mind.
Since I was a little late, everybody was rushing around me. In my left, a make up artist was applying red lipstick on me and in my right, a hair dresser was spraying hair spray on my curls. In the mirror, I could see the staff running around. It was a busy and sped up sight.
"The show will start in 5 minutes!" A man exclaimed.
When the make up artist and the hair dresser was finished, I quickly stood up and thanked them. As I was walking, the producer suddenly went to my side and told me the instructions. One of his instructions was that I will come out after the host introduced me.
I watched and listened behind the curtains. There were a lot of people and there were three cameramen.
"Relax, Audrey," I whispered to myself.
"She was known for her grace and of course known for her famous and successful films like Sabrina and Roman Holiday. We are absolutely honored to have her today. Please welcome, Audrey Hepburn!"
I quickly went out and smiled and waved at the people who were applauding.
"Good Morning, Ms. Hepburn, I am Virginia Graham and welcome to the show!" The host said.
"Why, hello! It's really lovely to meet you and thank you for having me," I replied as we shook hands.
After that, we sat down and started the show. All we did was just talk about my upcoming film called Funny Face, fashion, and what not. It was really lovely to talk because almost all of the people inside were polite and the topics were just interesting.
"So Audrey, what do you look for in a guy?" Virginia asked.
I can't help but chuckle because usually what I look for in a guy is usually prince charming-like, almost unreal.
With a smile on my face I replied, "I want him to be gentleman, simple, funny, kind, trustworthy, and real."
"What a lovely prince charming," she replied with a toothy grin and we both laughed.
"Thank you so much for letting us interview you, it's such an honor," she said.
"You're welcome, darling. Till' next time."
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Ms. Audrey Hepburn!" Then the audience applauded. I stood up and waved my hand once again and thanked the host then made my way back to the backstage.
"Success!" The producer said. I smiled and nodded.
"I really hope I don't sound impolite, but may I leave early because I have a friend to meet up," I sheepishly said.
The producer just smiled and replied, "It's alright, I understand."
"Thank you so much, sir! Could you thank Virginia for me after the show?"
"Okay, I'll make sure to say that to her. Thank you again, Ms. Hepburn."
I smiled one last time and grabbed my purse and coat then walked towards my car and drove off.
"At least they're kind enough to let me leave early," I sighed.
Elizabeth told me last night to pick her up at her apartment and we will go shopping at downtown.
I really needed to shop because I'm already stressed out with the film and maybe just to get the handsome James Dean off my mind.
How can I possibly forget those icy blue eyes, sharp features, and voice. He reminded me of an art, so beautiful but doesn't have an exact definition.
