shan't love be easy ?

He used to be so close,
Yet he leaves a distant trail
Of who he once was
And lingers a while longer
To tease me once more ?
Shan't he learn that is not right ?
Or is he oblivious to what he is
doing to me?
This is torture to me.
Why must he persue this torture?
